Let's be real, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is Kanye's best album.

"Fourteen artists lent their voices as background vocals to the song: Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Drake, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John, Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams, Elly Jackson, Alvin Fields, Ken Lewis, and Rihanna"
plus the remix

MBDTF is too :pimp:

There isn't one skippable track on that album. The beats, lyrics, features are all on point. Not too long, not too short.

I think I lot of people had that Cruel Summer experience where they heard half the album before the actual release date.

I don't understand how any Kanye fan can not appreciate this album. The production is incredible, and Kanye is arguably at his finest.  Every song is damn near amazing on it. I would say its a toss up between this and Late Registration.

I LOVE everything that lead up to this album.

His hiatus from the public..

When Power first dropped..

The Good Music Friday..

The short film..

...every ******g performance that lead up to this was epic. It was something that would've sucked not to be around to experience the hype. Anyways, I def consider this a classic.

MBDTF is an UNDENIABLE classic. Kanye's best work with College Dropout coming a close second. He won't make another album that will top it.

Hmm this is actually a valid statement. All his albums really changed the game besides 808's & Heart Break, But MBDTF is a work of art. Even the art direction for it was incredible.

Yeah, LR and MBDTF are his top albums. But I do feel Stronger from Graduation changed the game.

Even though Graduation boosted up his popularity like no other, I do agree that it's his least best album. It's not as consistent as any one of his other efforts; not even close.

I think MBDTF is his best... but that's just me. I LOVE the album, even with the GOOD Friday leaks.

Album was trash and bars were below average what makes this classic the production ? how can an album be classic with wack lyrics dudes throw around classic too loosely

I honestly don't get it either, I mean I know music varies by opinion but I have no clue how any one can rate this album a classic. Album was completely wack and wayyyy overproduced with the exception of devil in a new dress and gorgeous.

If you get past the lyrics and whatever other reason everyone hates on it and enjoy it for it being good music... then it's a great album.

You guys really don't like Dark Fantasy? Gorgeous? Power? All Of The Lights? So Appalled? Monster? Devin in a New Dress? Hell Of a Life? It might not be the best hip hop album, but as far as music is concerned it's a great album. All those songs are great in my opinon. Runaway, Blame Game, and Lost in The World are pretty good songs too. I don't get all the hate for this album... :rolleyes

There are definitely some good tracks on MBDTF but on a overall level it came off as a forced attempt at being avant garde. Long running intros, unnecessary feature upon unnecessary feature...didn't really do anything for me. I think people put this album on a pedestal because of all the over the top additions to it but I don't think all the extra bells and whistles automatically make it a great album or a successful blending of sounds.

Crazy overrated album. I remember when this dropped it was the soundtrack for the fall\winter all me and my bros did was smoke and get into **** with this playing. It was cold then but the album got old very fast. Only tracks I dont skip now are gorgeous, so apalled, and devil in a new dress.

If he didn't add those Good Friday tracks and gave us new material I think it would have been better.
