:smh: Well, it was good while it lasted. Nike will change the process soon, I can see it now.

Good, the process was garbage and ill-conceived.

A multi-billion dollar company and they didn't think this was going to be exploited,.

Once again, consumers that actually want the product are the ones that are exploited.

Wait, are you talking about rsvps or tlo's? It seems like youre talking about tlo's? I'm curious about this. Anyone?

Agreed and they are aware of RSVP Sniper and the scripts. Its just a matter of time before the system is changed again.

They just need to mass produce OG colorways, it will solve all their problems.

People who truly care about the shoes don't care about exclusivity. I mean, they go to the well constantly anyway. Go through the entire cycle once again. For example, starting with the 2013-2014 season start with the Air Jordan 1. Release a handful of colorways, and keep them on the shelf like in '84-'85. Bring out OG colorways and pump out some Retro + colorways.

2014-2015 Retro the II's
2015-2016 Retro the III's
.... so on and so forth, catch my drift, create a connection with the next generation instead of just fueling hype that will die out, or fluctuate.

Meh, I don't think they really care. They'll change the process and the same people with the bots will come up with a new way to cheat it.

Mass production, people will still buy. Revenue will be made.

The "let's drop an XI" for Christmas is already getting stale. What are they dropping this year, the Space Jams, no wait a retro + XI that looks like the Space Jams but has a black jumpman, .

Feels like the Simpsons Episode where they flock to buy a Malibu Stacy simply because it includes a new hat.

^ well as far as Jordan's are concerned IMO that ship has sailed for a lot of people but gets replaced periodically by new buyers (next generation) which basically means everything old becomes new again.

Ship sails for a lot of people because they frankly don't want to deal with any type of hassle to get a pair of shoes. No matter how great they look, they are just a pair of shoes. The mindset of "I appreciate them, but I'm ok with not owning them" sets in and they move on.

Think about starting that cycle, everyone pretty much will thrive, you can go scoop up Jordan 1's for an entire season based on the same release schedules of the past. People will stock up because they know they wont be able to buy 1's for 14-15 years.

Resellers wont become scorned because if they are buying up stock it's to sell at a later time. Cosignment shops will thrive, since they will sell older pairs of sneakers.

Right now, JB is going to the well way too many times with the I, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, XI, XIII, XII. Let's face it, they should only retro I-XIV anyway.

^^ I agree with that. I'm one of those people. Resellers aren't really making much on Jordan's anymore with the exception of the limited releases. GR's sell on eBay for 230. Well with retail being 160 + tax which puts then at let's say 180 a pair. Of that 230 9% goes to eBay and 3% of what's left goes to PayPal. Factor in shipping which is at lowest about 10 bucks, sellers are left with maybe 20 bucks minus gas and time. In time they'll realize this and just quit buying to resell all together.

JB prices and quality also pushed me away. Frankly for me to buy any JB retro they'd have to be an absolute fav of mine or no dice.

Obviously JB is dominating the shoe market so they'll change nothing for years to come
