So what's the consensus on the fastest twitter client and the fastest add to cart bot?

How much of a roll does internet speed play?

Bailey

Trying to optimize for the fastest twitter client is like trying to figure out how to make a lawn mower go 50mph while everyone else is in a car trying to go 200mph.

from the data running my app for everyone last time, I can assure you all RSVP's were gone within 2seconds. Most stores were gone within 1second.

Just copped the Nikestore Bot. Works like a charm. Can't wait to really test it out.

Still need to have fast internet to have this program work.

Of course. Bots make anything easier, no matter what they're used for. However, the add to cart bot that was passed around won't be of THAT MUCH use. The one that works best is the one that completes the whole process instead of just adding it to the cart.

It doesn't matter since the whole point of getting the shoes is ADDING to cart. Your Internet connection is THE most important.

you sure you didn't call the science fair about the robot competition?

One of the free link snipers floating around has malware built into it. Just a head up.
this is why I only use the add to cart bot.....none of my personal info is input....Also I virus scanned mine with the most updated Avira available... All is good.

It doesn't matter since the whole point of getting the shoes is ADDING to cart. Your Internet connection is THE most important.

That's obvious. I'm pretty sure nobody has dial up, so it's still going to be helpful to whoever has it

Well you're saying the one that works best is the one that completes checkout. When in reality, it doesn't matter...isn't that OBVIOUS?

so i went digging into my auto add to cart bot and found this and removed it...not sure if its harmful but the coding still works fine without a problem....maybe someone can tell me more

 *
 * all affected sections have comments starting with "PaperG"
 *
 * Paperg - Added case insensitive testing of the value of the selector.
 * Paperg - Added tag_start for the starting index of tags - NOTE: This works but not accurately.
 *  This tag_start gets counted AFTER \r\n have been crushed out, and after the remove_noice calls so it will not reflect the REAL position of the tag in the source,
 *  it will almost always be smaller by some amount.
 *  We use this to determine how far into the file the tag in question is.  This "percentage will never be accurate as the $dom->size is the "real" number of bytes the dom was created from.
 *  but for most purposes, it's a really good estimation.
 * Paperg - Added the forceTagsClosed to the dom constructor.  Forcing tags closed is great for malformed html, but it CAN lead to parsing errors.
 * Allow the user to tell us how much they trust the html.
 * Paperg add the text and plaintext to the selectors for the find syntax.  plaintext implies text in the innertext of a node.  text implies that the tag is a text node.
 * This allows for us to find tags based on the text they contain.
 * Create find_ancestor_tag to see if a tag is - at any level - inside of another specific tag.
 * Paperg: added parse_charset so that we know about the character set of the source document.
 *  NOTE:  If the user's system has a routine called get_last_retrieve_url_contents_content_type availalbe, we will assume it's returning the content-type header from the
 *  last transfer or curl_exec, and we will parse that and use it in preference to any other method of charset detection.
 *
 * Found infinite loop in the case of broken html in restore_noise.  Rewrote to protect from that.
 * PaperG (John Schlick) Added get_display_size for "IMG" tags.

LOL! People paranoid of code.
lol no one is paranoid....code can be good or bad....just didn't see the need for it since the bot still functions perfectly without it....

anyways thanks for your GREAT input!!!

Well you're saying the one that works best is the one that completes checkout. When in reality, it doesn't matter...isn't that OBVIOUS?

A person with an average Internet connection will check out faster with a one click bot compared to someone doing it manually.

Shuttleworth-Not sure if this dude stole your program and is basically selling it in the bay for $10.

Saw his ad on craigslist and either he came up with the same exact program as you or he jacked yours. Just letting it be known.

PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE HAVING A BOT JUST GIVES YOU A BETTER CHANCE (EVEN LESS NOW WITH MORE PEOPLE WHO HAVE IT), THE DECIDING FACTOR WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION. I'VE CLOCKED BOTS FROM 1 SECOND TO 10+ SECONDS DEPENDING ON INTERNET CONNECTION. I'VE SEEN THEM FAIL AT GRABBING RELEASES BECAUSE THE BOT WAS HOOKED UP TO A SLOW CONNECTION AND THIS WAS BEFORE BOTS WERE EVEN PUBLICLY KNOWN (I ACTUALLY OUTCLICKED IT MANUALLY).
This is so true. I got my All Star Barkleys on my home connection and the Phoenix Suns Foams on a Starbucks connection from Nikestore without even using the program. The programs help, but it still depends on your connection.

bought 3 bots and i got scammed on all 3 . i tried to email the sellers and they just ignore them. Only use a bot unless you can make it yourself or you have a good friend thats good at software developing .wasted a total of $150 , could of just bought a new pair of kickz.
smh this is what's wrong with the shoe game.  Their is no reason for us to have to be spending money on bots just to  buy some basketball shoes.   Nike needs to fix this.   Either produce more of the product or make everything a raffle system with some transparency so we could see that the raffles aren't rigged
