At first I didn't know how to take Evilside, I applaud his calling out DC, but instead of telling everyone he waited till after it went live? Why? If the employees are crooked let everyone know the code so they have to switch it or the playing field is even. Also he didn't help anyone get any shoes, he only caused people not to. If the bot sites couldn't get any rsvps then lord knows few of us were able. It was just like every other release except the unclaimed pairs he rsvped with no intent of picking up (really a a hole move when you think about it) which the shoes will end up going to the employees. He could have offered free RSVP's to really mess with the system, he didn't he just slimmed down the already minuscule chances we had. Is he a good guy fighting for what is right, or an egotistical jerk who after getting his own messes up our chances in an effort to get hired for his coding work. As good at programming he is, and as out for the little guy he appears to be, right now he is struggling with a god complex and seems more concerned about promoting himself. 

agree with most of this. at the end of the day, all he did was take money from the services tho i think he did help a few people from what i read. nike store employees probably love him since they will have a nice amount of unclaimed pairs.

Evilside did provide solid programming advice to followers but in reality most like the skills to implement them leaving the rsvps with a tutorial on how to code better.

I don't know about NT's but at HOH and FTL by me on big releases the employees put their name down next to their a size and if the person doesn't show up, they get first chance to buy. Nike is already moving away from twitter with their own system that WILL release before the Red Yeezy's.

Yeah the extentions and the auto fill "bots". Nikes website records keystrokes and mouse interaction.

I think most recent studies say 1 in 5 don't have ready access which is 20% of Americans. But the whole point is Nike could care less whether people have Internet or smart phones. They sell shoes and sell them well.

nevertheless, nike stated that their e-commerce sector has been lacking (believe it or not).  they're looking to double their e-commerce business within the next couple years so expect more relases to revolve around anything web-based.  they were going to experiment with the wonderful world of facebook but i think that initiative got scrapped or put on hold.

what nike needs to do is hire these guys. pay them serious money and write code for nike's site. because unlike just selling out and having limited supply, this nonsense could actually hurt nike's business. that instagram account is so damning and jawdropping.

these codes that are being written are not that complex.  there will always be some caveat in the ordering system where human events can be replicated by automation.  not that hard to find...

As a developer, I'm curious to know what he did differently whereas all the other RSVP websites failed. The only thing I picked up from him was that timing and adding a delay was key. That's pretty easy, although you'd have to find that sweet spot of being fast, but not too fast.

Come on now, I've helped out multiple people on NT you don't think if I was KicksOnLock I'd be hooking people up? It's basically NT against the bots. And the users of NT that have RSVP services are hypocrites because 9 months ago they were crying on how unfair it is and now they're monopolizing a chance to buy sneakers. That's why I applaud Evilside.
