I'm still salty i didn't pick up the EM Ultramarine 180 that released awhile back, def gonna regret that one for awhile lol. How do these fit compared to the 90 and 1?

I found they ran longer and narrower than the 2010 AM90 infrared.
I had to return my pair. Really liked the shoe- Nike just doesn't make a size that fits me. Need that 10.5 W

Mine too. But it won't be done justice as long as they don't get the huge OG air bubble back. The bubble on the retros is a joke.
Biggest disappointment in my life when I first saw the UM retros in hand, back in 2004/2005.

they didnt even did that with the 95s and the 90s
why should the 180s get that kind of special treatment lol
you will be already very lucky if nike bring out 2 or 3 special releases
for them next year to celebrate the 25th anniversary for the 180s

Meh. The air bag will be small and flat. The shoe will be really narrow but long so it doesn't fit my foot well. Then it will be made with cheaper materials like every other release. I have no hope here can you tell?

Lol I don't blame you. I passed on the Olympic 180 runner because of what you just stated. More than likely they are cheaping out by using the last of one shoe for another which is why the shape and fit is completely off.

I've owned a pair of 2012 retro u.marines that are still going.. just, they have the front air, IMO the shape is the same as the Olympic purple releases, I believe they contain front air also as i can feel the bag, guess Nike have amped it up again once they sorted the Nitrogen airbag issues.
To ppl saying they run narrow I own all air maxes and tinkers designs run about the same so do lozanos, the fit of the 180s is initially tighter more fitted but give them a go once there worn in omfggggg mate you dont even know there like max huarache gloves.
Theres a wear in art form thats unique to these shoes, they will get dirty, let them, the mesh panels stay shiney due to the material used, yes it scuffs but is fairly rugged, just dont get any heavy stains especially dark liquids, if so immediately wipe with wet cloth even ya damn t shirt, but they will wear in sweet and then have a high milage until theyre spent.
IMO maybe the most serious pro runner air shoe ever released maybe close 2nd to the 1993 (270) as Mr Hatfield stated in a lost interview about them.

they are not that bad imo, but the midsole now looks so plain without the air unit midsole wedge
that surrounded the air unit like with the OG 180 midsole, imo i think the 90s midsole swap looks better tho
the 90s midsole wedge gives the 180 upper that lil bit of extras what the am1 midsole cant provide

Yes I agree with 90 looking the better choice. It's. Fills in the void the 180 bubble and arch leaves behind.
I'll probably get round to doing a 90/180 hybrid at some point.
We're trying something with the bubble inner being painted just like on the w&w dave whites and newspapers. Just to try and lift the mid. And after a few comments decided to go for a safari/bone coloured mid to match the off white upper of the 180. You really don't realise how off white the 180 uppers are compared to the brilliant white max 1 mid.
So hopefully there will be a nice difference when they are done [emoji]128077[/emoji] I'll let u know what they come out like.
