Yeah, she softened him up along the way. First with sex, then he killed that dude for her, then they plotted on Bjorn (she aint know but she knew they were plotting and it wasn't good for her), so she tells him she's pregnant so that he lets his guard all the way down, he wants to get married right away, so then she said it's time to kill this simping fool.
 
Really interesting that Ragnar is using those Chinese medicine / drugs more and more. After the episode Michael Hirst was talking about Yidu gaining control over him.
 
I wasn't sure if it was opium or not. Was wondering if that stuff and other Chinese ingredients are available in that country. Funny a king and an emperor's daughter are getting high in a hut.

It was king horik's (I think that's how you spell his name). His son gave it to the guy they hired to kill bjorn.

The way Ragnar acting and hallucinating got me wondering if he's gonna die or if this is like when I thought he'd get betrayed and Horik would kill him but he survived.

Worried he may be too hooked on this Chinese chick's drugs.

Rollo's betrayal finally being revealed and dude claiming to be loyal to Paris :smh: If they were smart just direct Ragnar and them to Rome :lol:

This other king is ruthless for no reason :lol: :smh:

Yeah, it was a nice scene to see. Ragnar probably wishes he could just go back to that time. He was happy. His daughter and Athelstan were alive and he was still with Lagertha bae.

Some weird ish going on with them. I looked up the kid's name on wikipedia and it said he might've not even been crippled. It even said Ragnar wasn't probably a real person but a combination of other people.

You guys think one more season after this? I don't think i'd watch the show without Ragnar in it.

Never noticed in the story much at all.

Pretty much the opposite. He wants Bjorn to be great but think he might not measure up. The rest are too small for him to even worry about. He just doesn't like that the youngest is coddled.

Not sure if the show will be worth watching without Ragnar. May just be ending soon.

If it doesn't, not sure how long Rollo stays on the show cuz I know he's about to be playing a young Bryan Mills in the Taken prequel tv series.

Rollo's tactics and frankish weapons washed the vikings good.  Those oil bomb catapults with flaming arrow combo did damage
 
Always thought it was a bad idea to leave the camp unprotected. Basically gambling that your non-fighting women and children aren't slaughtered. My bae Helga better heal.

Gonna call him Ragnar Red Mouth.

So that scumbag travels to villages when men are off raiding and gets with their women. Convenient he arrives when Ragnar is gone. Ragnar should cut off the guy's manhood, feed it to him then separate his head from his shoulders.
 
Y'all do know Ragnar is pretty much done right,  writing is on the wall that his end is coming
