Amazon Prime: "Vikings" S6 *The Final 10 Episodes*...Premieres on Wednesday, December 30, 2020...

They got my dude Aethelstan smh..

I think he was like that because in a way he knew it was coming.
But that's just the way it is.. Things will never be the same..
Yeah, sometimes when it comes to a character's death the writing be like that. They be acting not completely different but like in a way they know gonna die.

I really thought his brand new I found Jesus again attitude was cuz he kinda sensed he had a son.

That hallucination was hilarious when he saw the light. At that time I thought it was Floki coming to beat his ***
It's like an Aethelstan tribute/Season recap episode
That's another thing that should've let me know he was gonna die.

I was like at first oh **** 2 new eps in a row! But then I read the info like damn they about to dig deep for a special Athlestan spirituality ep but it was bittersweet :smh:

Writer's knew they had a gem on their hand with that character's journey.

I thought Helga and Torvi looked a lot alike and then I see that they're both the daughters of the show creator michael hirst. I want both of their light blonde Scandinavian yambs.

Crazy how two major characters have been offed this season. Didn't expect those 2 to go.

Funny how aslaug is the one mad at Ragnar. I thought he would've kicked her out or something. He gives no damns about Lagertha's earldom either. She's definitely plotting to cut the traitor's head off and get her title back.

Lagertha is perfection.

That's a nice fun fact on Helga and Torvi though.

I just hope they never kill of my man Floki. I just found out he is from the bad *** Skarsgard family. No wonder he brings his character to life.

They all do really. Some superb acting goes on during the Vikings season from body language to some of the best "expressions are worth a million words" facials, I have ever seen.

bjorn's woman is crazy. She wanted to be a warrior and thought she was ready to go on a raid. Her stupid self did it while pregnant. Her face gets sliced up and it's the end of the world to her. Warriors get battle wounds, that's the life she wanted. She'll still look alright with 2 big scars on one side of her face.

I think she's cool now that she heard Bjorn say, "it's the most beautiful baby I have ever seen"

She was feeling worthless and vain after that "defeat" in battle and then her face getting mangled.

Hearing the comment towards the baby and then Bjorn wanting to still smash, gave her life again, then she let him hit Jarl Borg's son's wife to show her Love.

My kind of woman.

Her post pregnancy boobs were looking good in that white dress when bjorn gave them a squeeze.

Damn Floki, smh...

RIP Athelstan. That was Ragnar's ace boon...Hurt to see my ***** go out like that.

Episode was difficult to watch.

Ragnar going full Christ God? Nah, I think he about to twist the Parisians on some "I'm a pious Viking b" steez and forge an alliance to attack England.

Just my theory.

For the Lagertha lovers, Katheryn Winnick was in the most recent ep of Person of Interest talking modern English, being a badass and looking sexy as **** :pimp:

So that Aethelstan thing after wasn't an episode?

I thought they were showing the same episode back to back and was mad I missed it

It was a New hour special, but wasn't an episode. It was actually pretty dope. Catch it if you can.

 This Mercia queen is pretty dumb. I forgot for a sec all of the backstabbing going on between kingdoms and what not. If anything this'll prepare me for when GoT comes back. I don't believe at all that's Ragnar's son.

 @ the Prince being such a sexually frustrated lame. Son need yambs after his wife gave it up to Athlestan

Floki dumb for confessing he killed Athlestan to anyone even his wife. I bet he's dead by the finale.

Nah it was just a best of Aethlestan ep covering his split faith and overall journey as it came to an end.

Still puzzled on why he died cuz there was a lot more they could've done with him.

Yea she's crazy. Out of all the other dudes she's smashing how did Ragnar end up knocking her up.

queen who wants nothing but the D was put in her place by sexually frustrated son of Wessex haha. Nice to see NT on this show. Somewhat surprising lol

So is this show really worth it? I just started and I always have trouble in the beginning of tv series' getting engrossed

If in the first say 4 or 5 eps you don't like Ragnar Lothbrok I'd say to stop. The whole show is about the rise of Ragnar as the triple OG conquering invading Viking.

I know there's some comparisons to Game of Thrones like it's that without all of the fantasy and magic parts but the main focus is Ragnar with subplots following the supporting characters. It keeps you guessing as far as who is gonna die next and what will happen. Lots of world building, politicking, fighting, backstabbing, etc.

While you can crack open a history book and know of a lot of what went down not a lot of that period in history is that well documented (at least in an unbiased way) so with it being based off real events I'd say it's worth it.

Very entertaining and interesting show as it balances the character focus, action, religion/mythology, strategy, and drama.

Torvi's husband looks so out of place standing next to everyone. Little guy is so frail looking and bjorn is macking on his woman in public for everyone to see.

Queen Kwenthrith got that baby she wanted. Wonder if Ragnar knocked her up intentionally.

That princess of France was miring Rolo the second she saw him. His prophecy is about to start.

I'm convinced Floki is gonna die. Before I wanted him to but it's clear Ragnar is just as clear as him. Son let dude embarrass himself in that incursion and lose all those men just so he could think the GODs are punishing him.

I got shook for a sec thinking Bjorn died too but he survived. Son was just in shock. I been got the feeling they were gonna lose but when Ragnar, Rollo, and Bjorn got on the castle wall and started putting in work and that princess chick was looking shook I thought they were about to mount a comeback. Oh well there's always next week.

One thing I def saw coming was when they got through the gates. They showed the corridor earlier on and I was like that's no escape trap if you had guns then these French come through with extra large metal arrows straight out of Game of Thrones that could take down giants  Gotta give props for that and the oil. That was vicious.

 :pimp: :smokin @ Lagertha. She got balls. This snake dude trying to make a move on her again and she straight up tells him I'm going to kill you for stealing my earldom, you can smash if you're okay with that.

Amazing.
You know what I liked, seeing fear in the eyes of the Vikings for once.

FLoki when his ladders were set ablaze.
Lagertha and company looking down that long empty corridor.

Ragnar observing this, and at that time realizing his mortality.
Amazing show man. Very well executed
