"He'd give the doormen a hundred just for opening the door. He shoved hundreds in the pockets of the dealers who ran the games. The bartender got a hundred just for keeping the ice cubes cold."

''You might know who we are, but we know who you are. You understand?"

Tommy DeVito: Oh, I like this one... One dog goes one way, the other dog goes the other way, and this guy's sayin', "Whadda ya want from me?' Guy's got a nice head of white hair, it's beautiful.
Jimmy Conway: Looks like someone we know.
Tommy DeVito: Oh, my... no, without the beard? Oh, shhhhhh...!
[laughs]

Its a ******* disgrace this didn't earn Scorsese a best director oscar if not best picture

Probably my favorite film ever made. Acting and story telling was top notch. And the direction and camera operation was incredible.

One of my favorite shots in cinema with a quick background story on it. I've worked as a steadicam camera op before and to know that they nailed this shot in 8 takes is truly amazing.

My friends and I filmed a short film using the actual car they used to stab and dump Billy Bats in :smokin .

Friend of mine, his uncle's friend is the cars owner. He said all the producers gave him at the time of use was a paint job and multiple car washes since the trunk was a mess. Car had a dummy too in the trunk and authenticity plaques on the dashboard.

A new blu ray 25th anniversary edition confirmed to be released on May 5, along with a new documentary on Scorsese:

It will receive a 4K scan of the original film negatives and the process will be supervised by Martin Scorsese. In other words, it will look much better than you've ever seen it before, might even look better than if you've seen it theatrically in 1990, if you have a good TV.
