Don't know if anybody is felling the same. But, I just don't feel the same about J's or the hottest release. But it's more of the newer generation of so called "sneaker-heads" that just ruin it for me. Trying to get their grubby hands on any release and think they're cool or whatever. Last pair I got were the BRed 11s, and the camping was ridiculous. Barely got my pair. So many kids don't even know what they're talking about when it comes to shoes

More profitable time than ever, got rich kids with money and hood dude that will pay whatever.

Nike/JB can continue to pay my college expenses.

Buying/Selling has made me meet alot of cool peeps and make solid connects. Yeah theres no more thrill in collecting for me IMO but ill always buy what i like and rock them. and none the less make profit off the **** i dont like
 
shoe game is terrible i remember when i could go and see retros still in stock. Today i went to champs, footlocker and see nothing but trash. Why can't you wake up late and still get the shoe you want now all these kids think these poor quality jordans are godly and want to buy into the hype. hipster kids need to find a new trend and not take away wearing jordans and trying to impress other hipsters i fell sorry for the parents
 
I'm too old. Both knees repaired.

I don't get any new shoes, but I keep up. I have 6 pair of Zoom BB 1's that I'll wear when I play ball and that is it. I don't wear gym shoes all that much casually, so I would never wear the latest release/retro to gain points with someone noticing.

My son is 10 and loves basketball, so he gets the stuff I would buy for myself. So far been the last couple of Rose adidas....
 
Why do people feel they are more entitled to a shoe than someone else? Like buying a sneaker is some exclusive privilege only reserved for a selected few.

I'm young, but my love for jays and their history is more profound than most of the kids you see in lines. I cop mostly older releases, but when my grails came out I got them.


If you want a new release and hate standing in line get connections or have your son work at footlocker.

I hate terms like sneaker heads, and shoe game too. What game am I playing? :lol:

I always said it's all on you and what you like but it's true that the next generation kills.

You see someone wearing the same thing as you thinking damn nice style but once they open they're mouth it's another dumb *** kid.

Like this, why does someone have to feel like they have to prove why they deserve a pair of SNEAKERS to someone else, not talking about you just in general.

You just outgrew it. It happens. It happened to me too. I may see something I like here n there but my heart aint in it like it was. I use to know every pair of kicks droppin, their date and colorways for the year. I'm good, those comin up can have that. I'll use that brain space for something else.
 
I'll have random stints where I buy a ton of shoes. Then I get tired of it or turned off, but I ALWAYS come back to it. Regardless of how old I get, I will always have an appreciation for the design, aesthetics, and technology of sneakers.

I'm sayin though, if you can't beat em, join em.

If i can make a couple hundred in the time it takes to pick up the shoes from RSVP or order online and listing on the bay, why the hell wouldn't I?

Last pair I bought for myself was some SB Bucks,last new release were the blue denim Levi SB's.

Last 3 pairs I sold were Corks, Area 72 Lebrons and Kobes. Made like $900 profit off em.

Repped. People are acting like buying sneakers is so damn serious and get stressed about it.
 
There are shoe heads and there are Jordan heads . Shoe heads understand tht there are more arguably better looking and better quality shoes out there other than Jordans so they collect them . Jordan heads js cop watever Jordan's come out no matter wat it is .
