No more retros at outlet malls?

It seems all the malls that are owned by the Simon "Mills" group were affected.

Oh crap, the mall I cop all my retros is a Simon mills group mall.
That would suck, I have to call my spot tomorrow and see what's up.

This is such a stupid idea. ANother reason why I think Nike and JB don't care about stopping the madness that comes along with releases.

If you want to stop the madness, spread the pairs around.
I think it is a move to help push their goal of driving the retail price WAYYYY up asap... nike air 88 3s was their first test, the xx8 was the next... all were a success so i wouldn't be suprised if the xx9 is like $299 and retros are $200 practically next year
mean.gif
my days with the brand are looking like they will be coming to an end once again, sooner than i expected

There are rumors that the xx8 were produced in really low qualities which made them sell out fast. Retros will probably not go to 200 that's more than most are willing to pay for at least ten years unless there's a lot of inflation

apparently you didn't understand what i just said lol

Let me rephrase what I said ..there are Simon malls that aren't "mills" malls that sell retro Jordans
Yeah you're correct.  I checked yesterday and found out not all Simon Mills malls were affected.  I guess just their outlet division.

Just called up my outlet FNL and its sad but true for me too. This place was such a relief on RD, it opened at the end of summer and made releases relatively hassle free. Back to the malls now, oh well.

If these outlets are getting release day Jordans does that mean that'll be getting something new instead

I have never seen a jordan realease in any of the outlets in my state, so im not surprised Jordan decided to not release them anymore.

good

all you mall rats missed up the game for everyone else

for example

lets hope the extra pairs hit more NYC footlockers

For the Charlotte heads, Concord Mills told me the same thing a while back. I found out when I went looking for info before the Fire Red V release. Strangely enough, another NTer said that he copped a pair from Champs even though FTL and FNL made it clear that they would no longer carry retros. This sucks because Concord Mills traditionally had the most pairs in this area. North Lake and South Park were always headaches with lines and more limited stock.

GOING TO BE EVEN HARDER NOW TO GRAB A RELEASE.

MAN, I JUST NEED T THOSE COLUMBIAS AND I CAN RETIRE IN PEACE.

Yea greatmall is also been cut off of all retro releases.
repped. just checked FL launch locator and FL great mall is not on the list

thirst is going to be real in the south bay since many people get their pairs from the greatmall

I went there to get some info for the blk/red XI release. The guy at Shiekh told me they were not selling retros anymore. I thought that was the biggest line on BS. (I was thinking all the pairs were sown up.) I guess that dude was telling the truth.

i went to my outlet mall and went inside FNL and they had the recent Spizike that dropped. I asked the manager if they where getting the 13s that drop this week and he told me know that the Spizike were the last release there were getting because the Nike store in the outlet wasnt getting releases so it wasnt fair smh.
