I was in college when JB hit us with the Snakeskins, the sour taste of those releases still lingers within me.
I'm pretty much done with XIs, unless a CG, Jam, or Blackout release is announced.
Where this Gamma XI is concerned, I don't see myself copping -- but for those interested in these, go get em.
If I DO end up picking these up, it will be for a "Blackout" customization only
 
They need to just drop the colombias and forget this whole Laney thing. Laney 5s is 1 thing, but butchering the XIs, and making changes on the steel Xs, Taxi XIIs, that just aint right.
 
My OG Steel X tongue is short... Anyhow, not like I put much stock this image. It is what it is, an early IMAGE
 
i'll wear these when i dress up, regardless dudes gonna go crazy over this shoe, i *** wit em. hopefully the hype doesnt get crazy

Repped my dude. All the hate is unwarranted. If heads(liars) really don't like these simply keep your word as a manchild and PASS or spend your money elsewhere.

I for one will not be passing. The blk midsoles look dope IMO.

I find it hilarious that you get called a whiner for voicing displeasure over a lazy CW of a $185 (or more) shoe on a *gasp* shoe forum!

Anyone who likes these... can you explain what is creative about this? Can you explain what is an improvement with the hits of those two colors over the blackouts?

I'm genuinely curious about what it is someone actually finds enthralling about these other than the black on black.

Hmmm. Not gonna lie these are pretty disappointing. Sure they could be worse, but they sure as hell could be 1000x better too
 
Only the new kids will like these.

Its a dam shame what jordan brand is becoming. Murdering classics like the XI is a big NO NO in my book.
 
The soles aren't exactly the shade I would like (black), but that can easily be fixed.
