You don't like the quality on the shoe, sorry for you return them and get your money back.  It sucks really that you paid your money for the shoes and they came in like that, however your not the first or last.

Meh I think mines was cancelled, oh well that is what happens when you try and get greedy.  I hope it went to a more deserving person.

By greedy I already have 4 pairs of these, I was ordering my fifth. I said it in here before but some guys might of thought I was joking. Out of the four I have 3 are going to various customizers to create what I have visualized.

I personally think customizing is the evolution of being a sneakerhead. Have a pair of the shoes untouched or at least how they were released, then an additional pair to show off your creativity. It's not like V's will ever be on NikeiD. LOL

Just to clear some things up I'm really not that picky when it comes to quality in j's nowadays. As i stated I've let a lot go with other releases. I know I'm not the first or last to complain about quality. It's just the brutal truth that some will be on point and some horrible. I might as well stick with them than return or try to swap them in my area. I never said I was thinkin about returning them. Just ranting that these happened to be that one pair that's off.

I kind of like 'em. Not too happy about the soles being tinted with a blue but that really doesnt bother me (just something that would be better if it wasnt there). Overall, I think that the shoe is a nice shoe but was definitely an underrated shoe

These look better in person than I thought they would. I can see why some people like them, but not for me.

The material isn't the same as the black grapes. It looks the same, but it doesn't feel the same. The suede on the black grapes is softer.

Looks like you have a lot of pairs there buddie. I personally would have loved to have a few DS pairs myself, let alone customizable pairs, let me know (if you want) how they turn out. I'm sure there's a great debate on the topic, and I now wonder if there's a thread on the subject of customizing especially since MJ's son said that customized Jordan's were "fakes" because the finished colorway didn't drop and so on.

If I had a second or third DS pair of the Bred 4's, I would have traded a pair for these Oreo 5's. But that's because I'm a fan of the simplicity of both colorways. It makes me happy when a person on here is able to afford a second or third pair, especially that third pair because the first thing I tell them is that you never know when you may be able to use them as a trading asset and have that second pair on ice so when your first pair is done with you can rock those. So, if you would have had an extra pair or two of the Bred 4's, I would have traded one for one not that stupid deal the kid was talking about.

No doubt will update with pics, obviously some won't like and some might like. I guess I could say that if Jordan was my dad, not all of us can call Nike and say make me these Jordan's with these colors. Oh I don't like them switch the colors to this. Kids have done nothing except be Jordan's sons and average college players.

I think the "tinted blue" or "icy soles" are meant to prevent yellowing, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's why they're that way and will probably continue to be that way instead of the clear soles.

I personally love customizations, if I had 3 pairs (2 to keep original and wear over time and 1 to have customized) and the money, I would go ahead with a dope customization. But, I know it's pricey so I'm unable to at this particular moment in time. But, I've seen a lot of dope customizations because I follow a lot of shoe Instagram pages, and whether it's Jordan's or any other Nike shoe, for the most part they turn out looking great. Do you have any ideas in particular of where you're headed with the shoe, or would you rather keep it a secret? But, I'm with you, I disagree with Jordan's son. As long as you're customizing the original and authentic shoe, then its a legit shoe, just customized. It would be interesting to hear what Jordan has to say though since there are some Jordan's you can use NikeID for and the Spi'zikes are a customization in itself in my opinion.

Just called DSG seems my order wasn't cancelled just held up. Asked the rep if I could get 10% off for my troubles you obliged. NICE now they can take as long as they want to arrive, more time to think up a design for them.
 
I didn't pick these up, but I honestly like these more than the Oreo VI. I ended up passing the Oreo VI's down to the lil bro after about a year

Oreo IV's are still the GOAT of the Oreos Jordans though! 
 
i just wish JB used durabuck instead of the ashy larry suede on these & the black grapes. Would have made each shoe 100x better. I copped both & still like them but they could've just been a lot better.
