Chop responded then quickly deleted it:

The beat's in question:

Blow Up by Young Chop

"I didn't steal your beat I remade it"???  The ****?

Does this call into question all the beats he made for Keef?  If he'll steal a wack beat, it makes you wonder about the hot ones.

Spoke on this earlier.

Wasn't he boo-hoo'ing a couple months ago because Ye redid HIS beat?

How are you only a couple years in and already resorting to beat-jacking? At least when Kanye did it it was 1) Kanye West and 2) just instrumentation over his record.

Furthermore it wouldn't even be an issue if n's laid off the lex luger kits for a bit.

Have a goddamn seat n'.

That Vybe dude's beats get remade all the time. He puts his beats online for free then the artists record on em then he tries to charge crazy numbers for em when they try to purchase them for albums/singles. So the labels just pay a signed producer to remake it.

That All The Way Turnt Up beat was originally a Vybe beat but they got K.E. to redo it. A few of Jeezy's beats ended up that way too.

Cartune, did vybe see anything off all the way turnt up? I'm guessing he doesn't copyright his beats or anything

you don't have to actually go through the copyrighting process though. created works are technically protected in the states the second they're created and published.  just by not copyrighting it dude has to go to court and prove he made it first. it also doesn't protect the work internationally.  he saves money initially but then loses it on the back end with law suits.  i'm gonna guess and say he saw SOMETHING off that song though.

Is the first beat even credited to Chop? Doesn't say produced by Young Chop (and an artist would definitely credit him, it adds YouTube views and song plays/downloads) and I don't think I've ever heard a Chop beat where it didn't have his "Young Chop On The Beat" (in a child's voice) tag or the gunshot/scream or the variant Lex Luger rise

.

The second beat is a song from some no name dude and it was uploaded in 2011, before Chop even blew. He likely downloaded that Vybe beat, and sold it to some random wannabe rapper and got a quick couple hundred for nothing

But either way, y'all letting guys like Mike Will and Chop get away with putting out the same beats anyway. They doing exactly what Puff used to do in the late 90's, except they don't have to worry about royalties lol. Mike Will has put out Bands so many times. These dudes going into their FL Studio Project Files, changing the notes and VST's, and giving it to you over and over lol.

But I ain't mad, let em cook.

The whole production side of the game is getting mad repetitive. All you hear is 808s and rolling hi-hats. That's one thing I love about Drake or Kanye projects, the production is guaranteed to be diverse. Kendrick too.

Of the most known people on Soundclick, Vybe is definitely the best im surprised he hasn't found a situation.

Most dudes stuck online as producers either don't have the knowledge to make moves, or stubborn.

The goal of a producer is to produce a product to be heard.

I literally reached out to a producer to flip the Do or Die Po Pimp sample because Rap-A-Lot has the beat on gone.

Trap Music and Synthesis are what allows trap producers to thrive. The fact that Chop can remake a sound, and do it better show's he has some understanding of audio production and synthesis.

To be honest, a lot of artists are responsible for jacked beats, what's a producer to do when an artists request a beat that's on SoundClick? If he can, he'll just remake it, trouble solved.

You can't blame the producer too much these days.

Loop kits and MIDI notes are literally sold online or can be downloaded if you are in to the P2P world.

It's all about your approach.

I'm a producer when the $ and credit is there.

And 3.) It was for a remix to the existing Chief Keef song... changing the instrumentation on it is pretty much the true definition of a remix... it's not like Kanye took his beat, remade it, and sold it as his own for a completely different song
