Are you ever too old to wear sneakers cqasually?

This question is dumb as hell.

Wear what you like.

Im 23, and I'll be wearing sneakers for the rest of my life.

I know dudes in their 40's who still only rock jordan clothing and sneakers. When their not at work or at a casual place. I see them in the gym or around town in Jordan kicks, tshirts, slides and bball shorts.

It's all about being comfortable. Ofcourse were not gonna see much older folks doing this kinda stuff because there not from that era of when sneakers were hot. You only had converse, pf flyers, and new balances and stuff back in the day. Nothing like how it is today.

Off topic. Are you ever too old to play video games?
There is no age limit on doing what pleases you.
Spoken like a true pedophile.

^18 is the cut off age for sneakers...sometimes you just need to grow up. Check the dressing better thread, you got 18 and 19 year olds in there in suits, hard bottoms, wingtips, soft loafers, desert boots, dress shoes.

18 is also the cut off age for video games. Don't go into college playing video games, and your friends and roommates are reenacting spring breaks movie.

You don't want to be that guy that dresses like a 10 year old, sneaker, snapback fitted. *cough* mayor *cough*

I know its beautiful to re-live your childhood. But sometimes you need to graduate into grown man hood

Not trying to get into a e-fight, but this post lacks all types of logic. How old are you may I ask?

If you're trolling or being sarcastic please ignore. Thanks.

Personally i think it depends on the shoe. If you are old as hell dont try to dress to try to look hip. Instead you'll end up looking like a fool to real adults. However, hood rats will think your cool. I'm 29 and i'm transitioning. Ive lost interest in 90% of nike products. If i buy a running shoe its for performance, i i buy the lebron's im balling in them.

ANYBODY dressing to please other folks for leisure/lounging wear is an IDIOT.

The clothes don't make the man, the man makes the clothes.

You can put a pig in gucci suits, LV loafers, and diamond necklaces, and that pig gonna go right to that slop house and roll in it's own sh*t.

Wear what you like no matter who or what you are.

Saying someone is too old to wear sneakers is just stupid.

This x 1,000,000,000.

Don't focus on what the next man does.

Everything illphil said in here is pretty much on point.

And no d-ride, but if you've been around NT long enough, you'd know that he isn't BSing about his experiences. Word to those wall plaques.

This has to be a joke. Don't play video games in college?

You're not in college nor have you ever been, correct?

This is another thing that puzzles me...this image that someone wearing sneakers over age 30 is going to dress like Mayor.

I could have a dress shirt that fits proper, jeans that fit proper, sneakers on my feet, Rolex on my wrist (check the watch thread...) and that's a problem?

These dudes that are anti keep coming up with these incredibly childish extremes. I can't even take anything they say seriously.

Yo Trife, should we ask the Mods to set up a "senior circuit" version of NT for us old heads?

HA!

Yup.

:nerd:... I'm schemin' on that Gangstarr plaque he has as we speak.

Just lettin' you know ill... just lettin' you know...

According to this thread, it's a problem and we need to graduate into man hood.

The hell do sneakers have to do with manhood? >D

Yes you gotta grow up eventually. After 20 i only wore kicks for sporrs.

You work anywhere relevant you have to wear shoes.
You go out to any relevant spot on the weekend... Shoes.

As for weekends and hanging with friends, yeah i guess but legit i'd almost be embarassed of my appearance if i ran into certain folks

Stop...I work at one of the best company in America and the big dogs wear sneakers to work. I would hate to have to wear dress shoes everyday to work, seems painful.

I'm getting close to 30. No way I'll ever stop wearing sneakers. Why the hell would I want to wear dress shoes and boots everyday? I want comfortable footwear on lazy days.

The join date is dead giveaway that you're a troll and merely here to rustle jimmies. Not only should you be ip banned, your CPU should be smashed as well.

I'm 30 and still wear J's depending on what I'm wearing. My taste is shirts and pants have changed though. The older I get,the more simple I want to dress with solid colors and no logos. If I could find dress shoes/boat shoes that fit like comfy sneakers,I'll definately buy some

Personally I'll never understand people who where "dress shoes" when they don't have to, them joints ain't comfortable.

I'll be rocking sneakers whenever I can till I kick the bucket :nthat:

A great pair of dress shoes can be just as if not more comfortable than a pair of sneakers.
