Y-3 Qasa

Great look, wore my qasa racers yesterday, no kick I've worn broke necks like those. Need highs now.
 
So it seems some Qasa High Triple blacks have the Yohji Yamamoto painted on while some others have it carved in. Anyone know the story behind that?

Is this the case for all pairs? I've seen some pairs with it painted on from known retailers. Also, other pairs of Y3's like the Bballs and I think the older Qasa High's have it painted as well.
 
For Qasas, I haven't seen a real one that's painted.

Others might be able to chime in but that is one of the main key elements to spot a fake.
 
I think the previous pair of black and white qasa highs had the Yohji Yamamoto painted on. The key to separating the real pair and the fakes is the font is slightly different and the letter spacing between the Y,O,and the H is a little too far apart. These are the things that I look for when comparing real and fake pairs of qasas.
 
yo I was just searching y3 on on tumblr and someone posted these saying they are new adidas Flux and obv saying they look like the qasas. I can't find anything online about them so yeah anyone know what the deal is?

View media item 1201204Yes the black highs and i believe the lows are the only ones so far with the engraved name. I also have a legit pair of black\whites if you wish to legit check the name.

I thought the olive drab pair of qasas also had the engraved name too.

just wanna point out one more thing i noticed with the fakes is that they come with this fake reciept and they all seem to say "on sale" on them, ordered from y3 before and the reciept looks nothing like that lol so be advised.
 
Wouldn't the receipt depend on where you buy the shoes though? It could all look different depending which store you buy it from.

i saw the same receipt on aliexpress which is the main distributor of these y3 qasa fakes at the moment but still i'd be careful, funny thing is that the receipt says qasa bball but its for the the snakeskin hi's lol.

and i guarantee that the mostly faked qasas colorways (racers, snakeskin his, basically all the popular colorways) never went on sale
