I tried.

Can't get into it. Dude is like a mashup carbon copy of like 4 rappers. I still don't know who Travis Scott is. I just know who he's emulating.

Never listened to dude before. Downloaded this tape, and literally deleted the whole thing after it finished. I'm just not hearing it, man. His adlibs are cool, I guess.

backyard has been on repeat
Ye/Cudi/Future bastard child like I been saying.

I see him as more of a curator than an artist.
the fact that he sounds like the bastard child of ye/cudi/future as awwesome so eloquently put is what made me first check for homie cant lie. but hol time if he did take a more Dj khaled/Diddy role he could craft an amazing collection of music.

smh yall disrespectin travis dude aint no dj khaled he raps and makes his own beats dude barely even had any fts

he got the heavy cudi/ye influence but his sound is still unique/original

im glad a lot of yall **** with this doe :pimp:

^dont get offended I'm a fan of la flame and as a fan I can say rapping isn't one of his strongest selling points. With His skill in pre and post production he wud be great at Musical curating. There I didn't reference Khaled

Some fantastic production from these tracks. Much better than Owl Pharaoh

This is dope.

At times he overdid the distortion but this tape has some slappers.

He has one of the best ears for production in the game.

I though YE took his style not the other way around
This seems to be a common theme of the elite in the music business.

It's usually someone under them that's really the inspiration behind something.

Kanye did Cudi the same way. Drake is currently doing PND and The Weeknd the same way.

We all know about Dre. I guess the trade off is providing the artists with a platform to shine so I guess it's a win/win for everyone involved.

I just accept him as a luxury Thug/Future hybrid with better production

Cudi if he sold (or pretended to sell) drugs

Yeah on Blocka this ***** sounded exactly like Future

My thing with Travis is you can def see his influences but sometimes it's turned up so much that it's almost to the point of blatant imitation. Like when I first heard dude I immediately wrote him off because he just sounded like he was doing his best Kanye impression, others times Cudi or Future.

His **** did grew on me tho, mainly his production, this ***** makes/picks out some nice *** beats point blank. I played Owl Pharoah a decent amount and don't know really any of the lyrics tho, I just zone out to the beat

Still haven't got around to this project yet and I was actually waiting on it, hopefully he stepped his bars up a little

I think the dope thing about Travi$ is that his flow always complements the beat extremely well. I feel like that's what makes his songs so good; he's not a great lyricist so his voice and the actual production just combine to make one beat that always seems to KNOCK.

That's what I'm thinking! Owl Pharaoh is the reason I was so excited for this tape. Dance on the Moon :x :x :x :pimp:

"Moon light move when a N dance, peep a N Steeze from a N stance" :pimp: :pimp:, Owl pharaoh had heat on it, people just still sleep

Finished listening to the rest of the mixtape earlier and it was good. He rapped more towards the back half of it. I really liked this mixtape but not more than Owl Pharaoh. I know I may be in the minority here but the features on this mixtape were trash. Only Big Sean & TI was cool and I dont even listen to him like that. Young Thug is ehhh, Quan, Migos and Peewee trash tho. If he wanted to go to with the trap rappers, he shoulda gotta a verse from Gucci
