My friend is willing to let it go for $4,000. The only problem I am worried about is that it is one of the most stolen vehicles. I am in need for a car right now, but I'm still having second thoughts. Should I just look for another car?

Too much problems with Integras

Yes,yes you should.

Yuppp.....only thing that might prevent it from getting it stolen easy is having multiple kill switches installed but even then if theyre found, r.i.p.

My homeboys integra got stolen the day after he bought it

The purple GSR? I'd cop that, color was very rare

I tried to find one about 10 years ago and copped an RSX instead

Fuuuuu!

My homie's ls/vtec turbo got jacked a few years back. In my neighborhood. And that type of thing doesn't happen where I live. Fact of the matter is, it can happen anywhere. If you don't keep it in a garage or live in a gated community with a guard you're running a risk.

Add a kill switch, you'll be ok. No one but you knows where it is. Integras are good, reliable cars. Go for it!

i miss my integra

but like everyone has already said kill switch, aftermarket alarm with tilt sensor (for tow trucks) and steering column lock. Peoples car get stolen because they dont take the proper precautions to take care of their car. Layer your security and u should be fine. They are great cars let me know if you have any questions or some links on security stuff.

Thieves will tow it away. Hondas are what a lot of teens get into and still huge with the aftermarket scene so your car will be a billboard saying steal me. Here in NYC, even plain jane models aren't safe. One of my cars are just as bad of a thief magnet: B5 S4. You can install a kill switch, alarm with tilt sensors, etc. but if they want it they will tow it. If you buy it, just make sure to be a paranoid owner and believe everyone will steal your car because it is 99% possible for some to.

edit. just saw pics. 4k is decent but just keep good surveillance on it

Unless you really into integras, look for another car. Not worth the headache. Back in college, had a roommate that had one and was part of the local integra team. His friend had the kill switch and all the security precautions, but someone still tried to steal his car in the school parking garage during the day. Didn't get it out of the garage due to the kill switch, but do you really want to worry about someone stealing your car whenever you go somewhere? Cause that what its gonna be like.

At you guys thinking by putting all that top flight security stuff in it is gonna make a difference, if they want it they gonna take it.

And if they can't you can be damn sure they gonna **** it up cause you wastes their time

And that car is :x by the way.

it depends on where you live. try to bring it down to 3500.

or get a 99 Civic Si for 3000

dont buy it for 160k brah thats a horrible deal
