youngest player in the NFL you think is LOCK to go to the HALL OF FAME

AP and ed reed already top 5 all time at their position...rodg needs atleast one more ring to hit top 5
Same amount of rings as Peyton, favre... More rings than Marino. At LEAST 2 of those names are consensus top 5.

I'm not saying Rodgers is top five even but you have a bad argument.

Are you asking if they're careers were to come to a halt right now, they would be in?

Or are you projecting based on their previous production?

I will buy Ed Reed for sure. Thats a good call. But Reed aside, I stand by my statement.

Th3RealF0lkBlu3s the fact that you say "I think" proves my point. He isnt a lock.

I mean... since no one is in yet, all of this is opinion, lol. There's no way to validate anyone's point of view on this.

I guess its all interpretation to the question of this thread. The way I interpret it, the question basically is who is the youngest player that if retired tomorrow, would be 100% a Hall of Famer. If one was to interpret the question as who is "on pace" to be a HOF lock, then there would be an entire list of names.

If answering the question the way I interpret it, the only real answers to that question are Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Tony Gonzalez and Ed Reed. I think we can all agree with those names. Everyone else wouldnt be a lock to be in if their careers ended right now.

Aaron Rodgers already has more career touchdown passes than Aikman, Staubach, Starr and Luckman.

He also has more championships than Marino and Kelly
Please tell me we aren't comparing today's QB numbers with Roger, Bart and Sid. C'mon now

But Aikman though?

That's pretty damn impressive!

He's 2 away from Joe Namath

With a decent season from him, hes passing a lot legends( Baugh, Griese, Simms and Warner)

It sounds like alot of you guys don't think Troy P, Champ will make it?

^ Why? Cause they're not mentioned in here? Champs like 35 almost isnt he?  This threads premis is on younger players that are on the path to HOF status...

Champ is a HOFer to me. Not sure about Troy.

I see Ed Reed getting brought up, and troy is 3 years younger then him.

Ronde Barber, Ed Reed, Brian Urlacher, Charles Woodson, Larry Fitzgerald, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, Darrelle Revis, Drew Brees, Eli Manning, Tony Gonzalez.....guaranteed Hall of Famers right now in the NFL.

Ed Reed has had a way better carreer han Troy. Troy is injured way too much and i believe his coverage ability was always lacking.

So if they stopped playing today, they are guaranteed Hall of Famers?!?

But Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Ben Roethlisberger and Champ Bailey aren't?

Eli is a 2 time Super Bowl winning and 2 time Super MVP winning quarterback, and still has more time to win another one. Dude is definitely gonna be in there.

Revis is one of the greatest cornerbacks of all-time and will finalize his case with some Super Bowl wins with his next team :pimp: :nerd:

Fitz and Woodson were probably the sketchiest that I put on that list though.

gimme big ben before eli if i was forced to pick one...not even going into his mediocre regular season stats...tell eli get his numbers up...stop gassing dude...

lol@ the revis bias BEFORE hes a buc...i dont think revis has done enough YET...

i can see chuck getting in if he never played another down...like fraij said, not first ballot..but his years as a packer solidified him...

and we all know how the voters screw WRs.. if CC just got in, and tim brown still aint in, its gonna take a lil more for fitz...
