I give it 5 years this will be on a rated pg-13 Disney channel and they will have drama like the OG BMW did. Pregnancy, guns, drugs, Fights, interracial relationships and all.

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet but the ending was a nice touch.

I've yet to watch the pilot but I'm sure the show will be campy like the first season of BMW but as she grows Riley will deal with real world issues

First couple of seasons of boy meets world were the best. That show hung itself when they tried to tackle serious issues.

^It actually became better than it already was when they started tackling real issues . It's probably one of the rare cases where a show makes changes character wise and doesn't lose anything

When it came to tackling real life issues I prefer The Wonder Years. BMW was always just a tad bit to cheesy. It always had a Beaver Cleaver vibe.
