Kixify

I think what he's saying is typically people don't remove the insole. So if you put masking tape under it and they buyer says fake, returns them and you open the insole and the tape is gone, he did a switch?

I've only sold a hand full of shoes over the years and never had problems but nowadays it's such a risk. I've always thought from now on, I'd take like a sharpie and put the tiniest dot/mark or whatever say on the tag inside the shoe. So tiny that only you'd know it was there; say right where the tag meets the inside of the shoe. Then if I run into "these are fake, brah" I can say "send them back and I'll refund your money". Then when they come back, you check for that mark to verify it's your shoes you shipped out.

You can put hidden marks on your shoes all you wan't but If they paid with PayPal invoice it won't matter. They could send you back a box of rocks as long as it has the proper tracking and PayPal is going to debit your account and refund their money. One of the biggest scams out there right now. Sellers take all the risk.

You're right. But at least it helps if you have to fight your side of the deal and PP wants proof. I've never had a dispute with PP on the seller side, but from what I've read, the seller always looses. But if you could prove that you indeed ship something and got something different back, I would think PP would have to take that into consideration, no? As I said, haven't had to deal with a dispute on the seller side but I'd guess PP would have to at least take your side of the story into consideration. Better than saying "I think there are the shoes I shipped"...

I can't believe fleaBay got rid of negative feedback for buyers; that's a HUGE crock of ****.

not true at all, buyers can win cases with evidence

Right, but we're talking about (protecting) the seller that get the shaft that probably, even with proof, will still lose.

I'm not talking about buyers. Buyers have the upper hand with the PayPal protection. Hell they don't even need evidence all they need to do is file a claim and there is a very good chance they will get there money back with no evidence at all.

ive never had a problem selling or buying on kixify. i sell on kixify all the time. i always make the invoice as descriptive as possible and ship with signature confirmation.

I've bought two gm pairs of cool grey 11s on kixify, I bought thru paypal so I was covered, refunded on both fake pairs. Kixify didn't really do anything but take their sellers fees, and when I reported the fake shoes they removed the shoes and banned the sellers. Problem is that the sellers can just make a new account and relist the shoes in a matter of minutes. So yes education is key, and if your like me, the hard way is the learning curve.

Is using a PayPal invoice rather than paying directly from the website safe too? I have a seller who is doing the same to me. Just wanted to know if it was just to make the purchase easier, to dodge the 8% fee...etc.

Whatever shoe you buy or sell make sure it is as specifc as possible. For exame if you want to purchase some co grey 11s, make sure the invoice says "Size 10 Dead Stock 100% Authentic Air Jordan Retro 11 Cool Grey" instead of an invoice saying "Cool grey 11s size 10"

is kixify legit? who has ordered from there?
I tried buying shoes from that site and one if the people had positive feedback a and reviews so I trusted him (dumb move) and I mailed him a check for the shoes and he sent me the tracking number but the number was "not found" and I never recieved the shoes. And he never answered my texts or calls

Huge scam! Don't shop here!! No reply from seller and no support from Kixify.  I've been attempting to get case resolved for 30 days.  The only contact I have gotten is from kixify saying they got my complaint two weeks ago.

why didn't you contact PayPal or your card company?...

The seller fees on kixify (8%) are about the same as ebay (9%). And actually ebay Top Rated sellers get a discount, so I'm not sure the advantage of selling on kixify over ebay.
Plus as a seller, I feel more protected on ebay than I do on kixify.
