2014 Audi A3 Sedan - RS3 coming to the US

:pimp: :pimp:

 at a chicks car when most of y'all are driving hoops and on that bus schedule.

What's base on this? I'm assuming is gonna appear to that grown up market , jumping from entry level VWs to entry level Audis.

And they are roomy on the inside. I'm 6'2 and fit comfortably into a 2013 A3 hatch.

Or trying to get car loans for 2002 M3's

By saying its a chick car ppl mean thats who da target market is and one shouldn't aspire to own one of thses

How is someone aspiring to own one though it's not a Lambo

If you can afford this you can afford a lot of choices, people should have less thin skin

whoever called it a premium jetta.......................lol yea kinda is.

im wondering what the new engine trims will be for the jetta now since they are phasin out the 2.5 an goin with the new 1.8, wonder how this will compare to this.

How do you know? You do know that small cars with good mpg are what sells these days and big sedans are fading away? Sad to say but it is true and more efficient, smaller engines are taking over. Similar to the the big SUV boom from about a decade ago, the Hummers and Navigators and Escalades aren't whats selling big these days anymore, the same thing is happening to the huge sedans especially considering the big sedans gets bigger along with the compact sedans so peple could easily settle for the cheaper compact versions.

Mainstream large cars, such as the Avalon, Maxima, Taurus and Impala, continue to lose favor. Their combined share of the U.S. market has retreated from 5.8% in 2008 to just 3.5% in 2012 (the results were similar this past January, with the large car share declining from 4.1% a year ago to 3.9% this year). Large cars now account for a smaller slice of the U.S. market than minivans, itself an endangered species. And the number of large cars continues to decline, down from 14 in 2008 to 7 now. Manufacturers are focusing on the midsize car segment (which had 17.6% of the market in 2012), offering quick redesigns, hybrid, diesel and all-electric powertrains, a plethora of safety and connectivity features, and greatly improved fuel economy. Every mainstream make is in the midsize car arena, while less than half offer a full-size car.

Aint this pretty much the Jetta GLI though?

no i wouldnt really say that.......

im sure there are def some difference in the s3 and GLI....besides like 10k.........but i get what you mean

again the jetta refresh is this fall so Lucky id wait if i were you since i know you mentioned lookin at jetta before also

thanks for the link RFX

i believe that is true and the MAIN reason is def gas prices and mpg.

i drove my moms lexus GS for a week when my car was in the shop i spent 100+ that week on gas easy.

i was avg like 18/20 mpg

if i didnt drive so much for work and outside of work id prob get an SUV, like the new cherokee, but its not practical for me neither is da hemi

Watched the press release for the A3 really puts on a nice show for there car releases. I don't know why they need to make a "S" version on this car though, it will be at least 40-42g for a car as small as a Civic.

I wish Stateside would get the clear corners not the stupid ambers. Just got an S5 and dropped 2gs to get the euro lights.

BMW 1M is one of the best and most enjoyable car to drive. Heck the Golf R starts at $35k.

They also already stated that the S3 will start at $39k.

My lawyer floored it in his 2013 s8 a few months ago. I almost had a new addition for the poop your pants thread.

A3 looks great, but I need to see it in person.  Like Zyzz said, the A4 is already pretty small.
