After a night of drinking and hanging out with friends, he died from misusing some prescription pain medication (Oxycotin) that was given to him by someone who owed him money. He wasn't into the drug scene like that and this was back in 2002 before the effects of a lot of these things were widely publicized.


The local paper is running a story/article on him and I think this is the main focus of the venture/story: Addressing the growing epidemic of the misuse/abuse of prescription medication!
 
Thats one thing about your bros passing. So many people in woodbridge knew him. And so many people said they knew him.


But he was one of those few people, that other people WANTED to know.

So crazy to think how life has gone man. From me n mom picking u up to go field ground balls from good ol benson (he could hit some good BP), to now.

I remember we were at baseball practice when the OJ verdict came in hahahahah.



Maybe u could even try and get a hold of nate vanhook man? I know he uses his fb sparingly, but i forgot my password n cant use it anymore to message him. Or im sure u could stop by his moms house.

I feel weird cuz we know him, but he should hold down the bridge dammmit!

Those are some good memories right there my man! I actually just found him a couple weeks ago on LinkedIn. I'll hit him up and see if he can possibly lend a hand. Who knows....maybe he can pull off a Kanye/Nike collaboration and shout out Woodbridge for old times sake! :smokin

Wow, that is pretty dope. Had no idea NVH was even into shoes growing up.

That's a good look and when I get home today, I will definitely give him a shout!
 
He wasnt what you would call a major collector, but he had his pairs. He won a pair of the shoes barkley wore that were nike tb tuned air. Signed and all. Won em in.........a shoe drawing contest.
 
He said he dont check facebook very much anymore. Next time i get up there ill drive by their house n see if anyones home. They would be a le to get his number. Or u could even ask travis too, im sure if you explained he would totally help

It's all good man. I made my way down to Fredericksburg, Richmond and other places I've stayed. I was trying to hit VA Beach one last time before I roll and JMU/Harrisonburg is always a good time.

I'll see how it shakes out and it would definitely be good to see you and your family.


I coach baseball now and still think about all of our memories on the field man. Good....Great times!

U never think of that stuff while its going on, butthose years were some of the best.
