This run is unreal, hope it's not too early.

Braves are also hot, not worried about the NL West at this point, even though September is all NL West with the exception of Cincinnati.

It's a fun ride. Uribe getting busted and then getting clowned, :smh:...

Lot of positive energy in the clubhouse right now. Hit you up later 562.

Kershaw, best pitcher in baseball, should've been 3 straight Cy Young's for him.

Yes...peaking early is a concern. Just gotta stay healthy and sharp and once u get there..have ur rotation lined up and execute. The other line of thinking is the number 1 seed and home field throughout..but as well as they've looked on the road...

18 games over .500 !!!!!

Gutsy effort by ricky! Historically, hes been mediocre ve the mets but gave us a solid outing tonight...all it took was one big inning and an insurance run by lil pony...lol...punto going deep---> its your night.

I think they should let Hanley sit another week or so if necessary. And if they continue winning at a manageable clip, let him take more time to get healthy if he needs it.

No reason to rush him back if they're still managing to pile up Ws

Pretty ricky really settled down and got deep into the game, titan n punto.

I dont ever wanna see dee gordon again.

I like Dee he can be valuable because you can't teach speed but his defense is such a killer right now, I really hope he picks it up soon

Youre right you cannot teach speed, but i dont even know how that argument is effective seeing he rarely gets on base, doesnt work the count and seems like he has more pop flys than grounders.

Speed is luxury in baseball, defense and offense are a bit more important. You can't teach someone to be an above average defender, and you can't teach someone how to hit at the major league level.

You can develop those skills and it is clear Dee Gordon has not, should of traded him when he had some value, right now he has none.

Dee Gordon is not worth the trouble IMO. He's a liability defensively and offensively. I would go so far as to say his only real value is as a pinch runner

39-8 since June 22nd

This is what ownership had in mind when they opened up the check book and made the trades they did. The start of the season was rough, but in a way necessary. These guys got healthy and gelled. Overcoming the adversity only to be playing lights out during this 50 game stretch is why I am so confident in them. This team is going to win it all this year; I can't get with you superstitious individuals spewing that peaking too early mess.

Ya I think the tough stretch they had in the beginning helped them gel as a team and it's also kept the bench players more involved because they know at any moment one of them IS going to be needed and they have to perform.
