Msti has speculated Joc, Z.Lee for Marmol, Gregg and Dioner freekin Navarro..somebody pls confirm a deal..this has to be a joke by mike over at msti.

Not following his twitter feed, but on his blog he was joking when mentioning this and at no point did he mention Gregg or Navarro. I know Ned makes some dumbass trades but this would be epic.

Navarro- former Dodger, that Ned cut loose and we don't need a backup catcher.
Gregg- Let him opt out at the beginning of the year.

If anything, I can see a swap of Guerrier for Marmol with some cash on our end. You don't give up anything of value for someone that just got DFA'd

Only way Pederson and Lee would be romotely involved is if Garza is involved and I highly doubt that.

Solid homestand, 6-1 with a sweep of the Giants and taking 3 out of 4 from the Phillies. Good to see the front office FINALLY dropping some dead weight from the roster (Cruz, Guerrier), while also infusing some talented youth (Dominguez, Withrow). Sorry, time to stop coddling the vets. Wouldn't mind if they DFA Lilly when he is ready to come back or dump him for a rosin bag and a box of baseballs (He's done, mentally and physically). It was a rough start, time to make a run with all the other NL West teams hitting the skids. Crawford back next week, this team will finally have a real bench.

I do like the direction the teams going in and there seems to be some confidence building but it must be sustained through this all important trip. Marmol is officially a Dodger, in exchange for Matt Guerrier.

Cubs kicking in some cash for the difference in salary. This will add only $500k to the payroll and Dodgers get some slot money for international players in the deal as well.

It's a formality, he still needs to go through the process in order to go to ABQ (Triple A). He has already agreed to go down to work on his "kinks".
