Happy to be home so hopefully he'll be a little more motivated to do whatever it takes to win.
 
We didn't give up much for Young, essentially it's John Ely for Young... I can live with that :lol:

I NEVER thought i'd say this, but i'd hate for JUribe to see pine because of this :wow:

I'm ready for this September run, AND October since I just paid off the invoice, got me for more than I paid for the 75 games in my season tickets, but if we make it all the way I cannot complain :smokin

Let's get this sweep and show September AND October we aren't ready to lay down

Yes....mellis doenst have datboybp range. .but dude is steady.

What can u say. .These guys make the plays...paco...puig...zack with another ace outing. And KJ is a machine. 100 pumchouts in 66 inns.

Which is why I don't necessarily think he's good as gone next season.

Kemp is the better player if he gets healthy... Which we haven't seen for some time now. And he didn't exactly do anything with the Quakes to ease the worries.

0-14 with 7 strikeouts? :x No reason for that to have happened

Kershaw done already? I guess he did labor today, but bringing in League in a hitter's park can't be good

Pointless pick up if you ask me, don't need a clubhouse guy 'cause the clubhouse isn't a weakness. Stats indicate he is the same if not worse than Uribe.

I don't like Juan Uribe, wish he would've been cut in ST, however, it is safe to say that he is somwhat living up to his contract this season. Why take PT away from him?

Honestly wish the division race was a little tighter, could see this team getting bored/distracted in the month of September. Not good going into the playoffs.

You scored on getting season tickets this year if they make the WS. There won't be any for sale to the general public from what I heard. Even internal sales will be limited or non-existent. I know as a fan you don't want to think this way but selling a set of WS can pay off big time.

Frankly, I may have to hit you up for a seat, :lol:

Why not have another position player to come in off the bench or spell a guy here and there? Yeah, not the greatest option. But considering what was available and what they gave up, it's solid.

Uribe is 0 for whatever against today's opposing pitcher. So you sit him and start Young.

Plus some extra days off for Papi may help to keep him nice and youthful for the playoffs :lol:
