Why and where would he play?

Puig has been more than serviceable in CF, possibly making him expendable.

OF is crowded as **** right now and doubt they unload Crawford in the off season. So look for this trio in 2015: LF Crawford, CF Puig, RF Kemp, 4th Van Slyke. Unless they unload Ethier AND Van Slyke, otherwise I doubt we see Pederson in a Dodger uniform outside of a September call up. Might get packaged in the off season for a pitcher.

Remember, the bullpen is terrible, mainly due to the overuse of Paco and Withrow. Wilson wont be back, Perez wont be back (Awesome), JP will be back, League will have one more year on his deal. It will be a focal point in the off season.

The rotation will need some work since Billngsley, Beckett, Haren, Correia, Carmona/Hernandez will surely be elsewhere or out of the league in 2015.

Don't get enamored with the thought of Joc patrolling CF, I think he gets shipped out this off season. Unless they find a way to get rid of Crawford AND Ethier.

Floor - slightly better than prime Todd Hollandsworth
Ceiling - prime ethier(2009ish) with better baserunning...

Baseball prospects are such a crapshoot compared to other sports.

I was never against trading 1 of them for a star player. The core of this team is not getting any younger. Especially in Kershaw's prime. I'd hate to see us waste an opportunity to win it all because we wanted to wait for a 20yr old to turn into an All star.

Reminds of when the Red Sox traded Hanley. Ask any fan and they couldn't care less since their team won a ring...

^^true...for all we know..He could very well have a Todd Hollandsworth like career..nothing wrong with that, but ppl r hyping him up like he's the next Josh hamilton. Only time will tell..He does kinda remind me of a younger Dre. I personally think Seager will have a better career.
