That final Puig at bat was the worst I've seen yet. Cards with 2 hits win the game.

I think its all over for the Dodgers, don't see how they can rebound, especially with Hanley out.

So wainwright vs ryu on mon with punto possibly starting at ss in an absolute must win game....

yeah.

C'mon y'all series isn't over til it's over.

Struggles is in the offense and there's 3 straight games at the Revine for them to get things going...

Its just....HanRam HAS to play to have any hope...and they must sweep at home..matter of fact, id say win 4 straight. And puig has to make adjustments big time.

Let's be real here. This offense is done and they've been like this since the end of the regular season, so we can't say this is a short term slump. The only bright spot was the starting pitching, but as you can see, pitching alone won't get the job done. Kershaw gives up 2 hits and still loses. The next game is not looking any better. Ryu looked terrible his last outing, and we all know how Wainwright pitched his last game.

Forget winning the damn series, I just don't want the Cards to sweep and celebrate at the Ravine.

STAT OF THE NIGHT: Yasiel Puig 0-10 with 6 Ks so far this series

Yea...aside from the game kemp beasted in az and the clincher and the last win vs colorado at home..the offense has beem awol. Coincidentally, hanram was in and out of the lineup. The group of guys...for whatever reason..only hit well when theyre in the lineup together. Its almost like hanram extends the entire lineup and changes the entire complexion and dynamic of the game. During the 42-8 run....he was right smack dab in the middle of every big inning so it seemed. He must play. Im crossing my fingers that no ribs are cracked.

Crazy how the ticket prices have dropped quite a bit on stubhub.

Hopefully this series can play out the opposite way the 1985 NLCS played out.

I'm eyeing some cheap seats for a probable early afternoon Game 5. I'm about 2 1/2 hours away from LA, but will bust that one day trip for $50 tickets...

I got all you can eat pavilion seats for game 3 for $62 each after fees on stubhub just now.

I was thinking the same for game 5 if it happens. That early start time might allow for cheap tickets.

Tickets for game 4 are rather reasonable right now. If the dodgers win tomorrow ill expect them to go up a tad bit, if they lose they'll drop alot.

These **** ing guys :smh:

St. Louis was fun as hell, too bad they lost two tough games.

Game 1 is hard not to pin the loss on Donnie, terrible move taking out Gonzales for Dee Gordon. He blew his load way too early and it cost him later in the game, when the Cardinals just started walking Hanley. Michael Young had his chances but proved why he was probably one of the most unnecessary moves of the waiver trading deadline. Even then, prior to that move the Dodger offense couldn't take advantage of a shaky Joe Kelly. They were terrible with RISP. One of the major things I was worried about when the boys went on the magical run was that it happened too early and this game is indicative of that. They went back to their bad habits against a team that knows how to pave the road to the World Series. What we saw against Atlanta was fools gold, simply because it was Atlanta. Not a fan of putting Andre Ethier out there either, he has been out for about a month and going from being a PH to starter in the NLCS is huge. He was rusty, he wasn't 100% and it cost us the game.

Too many missed opportunites by both teams, but more on our end since Kelly was shaky early on. Their big October bat, Beltran, came through. The real senor Octubre. If there is a silver lining in this is that the real Juan Uribe has arrived and he wont be signed to a ridiculous contract by Ned. :smh:. Love his story and glad he turned it around, but still don't want his *** on the 2014 roster.

Donnie didn't make bad moves, he gambled and he lost big time. Which is just as bad, if not worse, than making bad moves.

Game 2: As angry as I was about the outcome of Game 1, this one just pisses me off. The Ace of all Aces comes through with a ******g two hitter and loses. He gets a rally going where he ends up on third, bases loaded and one out and the heart of the order: Yasiel Puig and Juan Uribe just have silly at bats. Puig is trying to have his moment, instead of letting it come to him. From my vantage points I couldn't see how bad they were, but when I saw highlighs... in our case lowlights, you can see that he is just flailing up there. No plan, just swinging as hard as possible and hoping he connects. Now I really hate that we played the Braves, gave this team a false sense of dominance. Losing Hanley hurt as well, and made the loss the previous night even more critical.

Kershaw pitched a gem, he got pulled early, but luckily that didn't bite Donnie in the ***. Once again the offense was terrible, not taking away anything from Michael Wacha, because he was great. This kid is going to be special, pitching doesn't grow on trees, unless you're the Cardinals. The offense got completely shut down, they looked incompetent up there, and wasted a marvelous playoff performance by Kershaw.

Six innings, 2 hits and you come out with a loss, :smh: Well guess, Greinke's performance was just as bad of a waste: seven innings, 4 hits, 10k's.

The offense stinks, and I had a feeling this was going to happen when everyone was excited about the pool party. :smh:

As far as St. Louis and Busch Stadium go, incredible venue and city. I definitely recommend it to any baseball fan. The worst heckling we got was someone saying "Boooooooo" as we walked by, and even then an older lady in Cardinal gear told that person "stop it, be nice". Very hospitable, and the **** talking was all baseball related, example "You guys are terrible with RISP",. It was refreshing, felt like I talked to people the entire game, they would come up and ask where we were from, and were very welcoming when we said we flew in. Just talked baseball the entire time. It was pretty ******g awesome despite the losses.

Prior to game 1 they were shook though, not so much after game 2... :frown:

this damb 5pm start time. i saw the cheap ticket prices on stubhub and wanted to jump on them but dont think i can leave work early :smh:

It's actually a decent start time to accommodate both time zones. When it's regular season, you can blow off either one, in the playoffs you have to accommodate.
