Somewhere far from the FO, you can find Colleti telling himself he could have pulled off these trades if he wanted to!!!

how are the 2 new pitchers the dodgers picked up? mccarthy and andersen?
I'll answer this for you.  Both pitchers you guys picked up are good pitchers.  Anderson has ace-like stuff.  McCarthy is a solid middle of the rotation arm.   Problem is, neither of these guys stay healthy.  McCarthy hasnt pitched a full season since 2011.  Anderson has pitched a full season once in his career (his rookie year of 2009).

If these guys stay healthy, your rotation is going to be ridiculous.  But I wouldnt count on more than 30 starts combined from these two.

ouch. hope the FO knows what they're doing

Every time these dudes make a move I'm like WTH. Then I marinate on it a few minutes and I see it.

Best case scenario is Anderson makes it to the end of the year, which probably means he is pitching well. He has pitched a shutout in the postseason before. He's at the backend of the rotation but he has No.2 stuff. Worst case is we can make a trade before the deadline and take on payroll instead of trading prospects right now. Zach Lee could also be called up later in the season now that he is not pitching in that hell-hole in ABQ. Not sure about Urias yet but you never know. If Hamels isn't traded this offseason that would be a situation to monitor during the season. Would you guys give up Ryu?

McCarthy is mediocre and Anderson is injury prone but you only need one ACE to win a WS these days anyways.

Bye bye Wilson. We're now paying 3 players to not play for us next season

Wouldn't call McCarthy mediocre, not an ace. Solid ground ball pitcher. Same with Anderson. They just can't stay healthy.

Brian Wilson is gone and I'm alright with that.

Looks like Friedman and ci got the green light to eat and do away with Ned's terrible deals.

Who's next? League? Ethier?

I don't know if I'm biased but I refuse to believe Kershaw is a choke in the postseason until I see it happen against a team not wearing red uniforms with a bird sitting on a bat....

Padres to "discuss results of Kemp physical tomorrow"

And Dodgers willing to pay for half of League's salary
