Frias has been good for the Dodgers so far. Regarding Alex Guerrero, who would LA want for him right now (outside of Hamels)???

FanGraphs pointed out something interesting regarding Guerrero's contract that may be a detriment to his trade value. If he stays in LA, his contract plays out, but if he gets traded, he has a player option that kicks in that allows him to opt out and become a free agent.

How's the traffic in LA during Memorial Day weekend? I want to go to the game on Saturday the 23rd (Gonzo bobblehead) but I have a feeling it might be a mad house in and around the Ravine. I'd be coming from SD in the evening.

Forget Memorial Day weekend, traffic is bad everyday.

I'm going to the Kershaw bobble head next week. I work in West LA and I'm leaving work at 4 just to be safe.

Kershaw's control was off today and that inning when the Rockies took the lead was really unlucky with Stubbs' dribbler, the soft hit ball to Gonzo and De La Rosa just slapping a chopper on a pitch in the dirt. No hard hit balls from Stubbs on.

control. he's had games were he just missed spots and left pitches over the middle of the plate that were hit hard. yesterday that big inning, they hit a couple of good linedrives off him but then he really caught some tough luck with the dribbler, soft roller and chopper. he'll get back on track soon enough.

Honestly, I would rather have him struggle now, than later in the season. Maybe he's backing off some to save it for the post season? I don't know, I might be reaching here.

I read an article last night (can't find it right now) that batters are jumping on him early in the count. Especially with fastballs. I guess the Cardinals put out the blueprint

May go to the game tomorrow as well. I want that bobblehead but man prices are hiked. I'll wait for tomorrow when resellers are desperate

yeah they showed a stat yesterday during the game that he's throwing a lot of first pitch strikes and batters are jumping on them. could be another thing he has to battle. may need to pick better spots with those first pitches.
