It's a wash for them, they get a couple of decent prospects and they really give up two guys that other teams knew they weren't going to resign.

Hill was a low risk signing for them, and Reddick is a FA.

Hopefully they flip Puig for prospects, and flip those prospects to Tampa for Archer. Would rather have Archer than Sale, even though Archer is struggling this year. Sale is a dbag, you're getting rid of one (Puig) to get another, makes no sense. Finally clean out the clubhouse of these bad apples.

When Puig gets dealt, Mattingly will be somewhere smiling. His biggest headache. .

I'm actually content with these moves...but moreso cuz the current roster(puig) remains in tact, and 2 nice pieces, albeit rentals, were added. We never saw what montas cam bring,sadly, and with the norris injury,hill is a decent add...reddick/joc/puig/trayce is a pretty decent revolving door in the OF..i wonder if that means howie full time at 2B?(which is what i wanted all along).
