Who are the 3 prospects that Dodgers gave up?

Josh wall (AAAA reliever), Stephen Ames (RP in albuquerque) angel Sanchez (class A P). Meh, not much given up. But we're taking on nolascos salary and we got more international money. Welcome home Ricky!

Edit- oops too slow

Well...Josh Wall is a bum so Marlins can have him. The other guys are not top tier prospects so it's cool.

Have to imagine the Dodgers can afford giving up parts in the farm system given their cash flow. Not to abandon it completely, of course, but rather comfortably focus on acquisitions through free agency and then primarily develop project players in the farm system as well as dependable pieces.

Seems that's the route we are headed, spend like the Yankees now, that we have no farm, and spend big internationally to develop our own

But is that the route that the team's ownership group wants led by Colletti? I was hoping for your guys' sake that he'd be sent on his way sooner than later.

What works in Colletti's favor is that he is a yes man, not much ego. A company man, so Kasten likes that.

The farmhands being given up are "low-grade" prospects. None that can be seen making an impact in the near future. The goal, Kasten has stated, is to build from within but in order to win now they had to make these big moves.

That realize that the perception will be that the "Dodgers are in" during any type of trade or FA negotiation. They like that.

Eventually they see the team being supplemented by domestic and international players developed from within.

Getting Gonzales was an opportunity they couldn't pass up on many fronts, both on-field and off-field.

At the end people focus on the payroll when in reality, who cares? The only time it mattered was when McCourt purged it to support himself :smh:

Btw, they = front office.

Man, these guys are pesky....gaudin, like vogulsong, resurrecting his career. Man I hope this hanram ball is fair.

All star deny that. Emphatic bat flip with emotion plus the heads up baserunning. Cmon hanram

Gotta win these series with the DBags and Rockies. 2nd place though :pimp: I'm glad these guys are figuring it out

2 of 3 in az, HOPEFULLY. we miss corbin, they miss kershaw. I really wanna rough up ian kennedy on tues.

Hopefully we can get back to .500 before the All Star break. Just hoping for back to back series wins, 2 out of 3 from the streaking D'Backs on the road and 3 out of 4 from the reeling Rockies at home. Optimistic but possible.

Like the way this team is playing despite getting completely shut down by Chad Gaudin. Then again it was a "Sunday" lineup out there.

Like are chances with Greinke, Nolasco (debut) and Ryu on the hill the next three days.
