I'm not disappointed in my team. We are terrible, no farm system, no hitting, the only bright spots have been Posey and Bumgarner. The pitching was only going to carry the team for so long, luckily we got two rings out of it, something the Dodgers haven't touched in 25 years. The Giants will finish in last place, but scoreboard watching and bragging about being in second place in July is signs of a fan base with major desperation to unseat bigger brother for the majority of this past decade.
I compare it to the Cal Bears, rooting for failure of a team because they have been dominated by said team for the past 7 years. It's rather pathetic, but if you really want to think that second place in July in the worst division in baseball is some kind of accomplishment, than go right ahead.
