Man when are people going to realize it's just a damn game. I'm always cautious when I go to Dodger/Giants games. Once the wrong person starts drinking it just goes down hill.

People are so fn crazy nowadays ANYTHING can escalate to murder. You just never know people's mind state or don't give a damn attitude, even moreso when alcohol/ego is involved.

Our bullpen looking mad sus going into the postseason. Don't even get me started on the bats.

The bats, to me, are a bigger concern.
First..if crawford is playing and a righties on the hill...I prefer puig in the 2 hole. Consequently, gonzo 3rd and hanram 4th...kemp 5th..then uribe, ellises...etc.
against atl, wed face teahren and medlen and then minor at home.
against stl, wainwright..shelby...then prob joe kelly at home. Only minor as a lefty..so......
also....dre/kemp/puig OF is better offensively than craw/kemp/puig...esp vs righties. Period.
against righties...m.ellis,puig,gonzo,hanram,kemp,dre,uribe,ajellis..or u can flip puig amd m.ellis..but id rather have murderers row 2-6...against lefties, u switch dre with craw and lead off puig with craw 2nd and the lineup as is tonight.
in any case, 2 or 3 runs per gm isnt gonna cut it in oct..and u cant expect kershand and grienke to put 0s on the scoreboard for 7 inns every time.
lets see if they can switch the preverbial switch.
I say sit hanram tom and sat(PH him off the pine to maintain sharpness and timing) and start him sun..go for the W and go into the playoffs with some damb confidence.

I think Atlanta is a better matchup out the 2 teams. Perhaps the dodgers peaked to early but game 1 isn't until Thursday. I think the 3 day break is a blessing in that they got time to right the ship and get things situated going into Atlanta. I'm assuming kershaws getting the start game 1, Greinke was solid last night but got no run support. If the bats can wake up, I like their chances in this series. If they were on a roll right now I would hate this 3 day break as imo if your team has momentum you want to keep playing rather then have a few days off.
Anyhow this mets fan that lives in so cal is pulling for the home team. Will probably cop playoff tix on stubhub later this week.

The break is far from a blessing, these guys have been "off" since mid-September... at least mentally. Once they got distance from Arizona they jogged to the finish line.
Drawing Atlanta is definitely a plus, want no part of St. Louis right now, they are hot. Atlanta limped in as well.
More concerned with Hanley at this point, he's the key. Losing Kemp sucks, but let's be real, he hasn't been around all season. For 2013, and at this time, it's safe to say losing Ethier at this juncture hurts more than losing Kemp.
Playoffs are finally here, can't wait until tomorrow, love the Wild Card games...

Damn, Dodgers are literally limping into the playoffs. I think they would be fine if only Kemp was out but if Ethier is also out, that's a huge loss. They went from having a deep outfield to a thin one heading in to the postseason.
