I got faith in the pen...

Situatiinal lefties/middle relief-paco/JP
Long/spot starter-wright/maholm
Righty heat-withrow/dominguez/perez

Setup-wilson
Closer-kenley

I think they got lax and especially for dominguez(whos coming off an injury), the nerves/rust kicked in...

Im much more confident in the pen going into 2014 than I was going in to 2013...

notice how u didnt mention league?

Jesus, dudes are worried about the pen on the SECOND GAME? :smh:

Nevermind they flew however many miles, or the fact they're playing on March 21/22

Man, I need some PMAC and BrightNikes arguments to feel good about this thread haha

TWO GAMES!

Forget the pen, what yall should be worried about is the idiocy of Puig.

The guy is absurdly stupid.

Sure he has all the offensive talent, but the baseball IQ is less then minimal. Don is mad and you can't blame him.

Didn't catch yesterday's game, but 2-0

Now hopefully TWCSNLA can get picked up by other providers so we don't have to stream to get our fix.

Agree. From yesterday: "After the first base running gaffe, Adrian Gonzalez  grabbed Puig as he was leaving the field and talked to him. The two players were bantering loudly in Spanish in the Dodgers' clubhouse following the game.

"Anything that we would do with Yasiel wouldn't be something I would talk to you all about," Mattingly said.

Puig showed up to spring training 26 pounds heavier than he had been at the end of last season, something Mattingly said wasn't necessarily a problem but would bear watching. Mattingly twice benched Puig for disciplinary reasons last season.

Guy still has no clue about basic baserunning. Glad a vet is finally calling him out on it. His act gonna get real old if he keeps it up.

Puig gonna Puig.

when i first found out he came in heavier i thought two things: he's gonna be making even more mistakes on the bases and he'll be prone to injury. dudes come in overweight all the time an just need to play it off ( its  a long season). i think Puig will be alright as long as uribe, a-gon and hanley keep him in check.

Honestly, Puig's antics dont even bother me. Just a guy having fun out there. Pissed me off when Beltran called him out on it while some Cards were doing the same thing. It's his basic grasp on fundamental baseball. Like what exactly was the point of trying to get to 2nd base last night? Then he tried to wave Gordon home so he can get tagged out at home by a mile. It was so embarrassingly bad. And let's not forget about his fielding during the last game of the playoffs. Then you read today about him laughing off fielding drills in ST and it all makes sense.

Puig's antics are going to get old as soon as he stops producing, his ego is huge right now, hopefully the vets can bring him down to earth.

Yeah he'll be day-to-day, 15-day DL tops. Who steps in now, Ryu or Maholm? I haven't really been able to keep up. Chances Pug becomes an "issue" before May?

Also, what's up with Guerrero?

Kersh will be fine, good thing its now and not later on in the season. They will probably limit his innings when he does get back. I heard that Kersh will probably play the home opener against the Giants. Any truth to that? :nerd:

I think he will. It was conceivable he could start in Australia, San Diego and the home opener.
