I was at the game last week. They jacked up concession prices again. Not sure I like this inflated payroll now  Guess that's what happens when you pay a 4th putfielder 15+ mil. Smh...

How many more years are we on the hook for Crawford, Beckett, & Billingsley?

The new pavillion area looks real nice though

Get ready for everything to go up in price. They're gonna be the new Yankees. Tickets, concessions, etc are all gonna go up in price.

Then they just need to give us our GODDAMN Dodgers on TV then. I swear I'm pissed as ****, but just until we get the TV deals done...then I'll be content

Jonah Keri from Grantland has the Dodgers having the best record and winning it all this season.

True is, we can live with all the increased prices and lack of TV agreement if they bring back a title this season. It's been way too long. I'd love to see Vin retire off in the sunset with a World Series title. It really is World Series or bust for this team this year....

I'm thinking it will go until maybe the 20th, but at the longest first week of May  :smh: >:

I swear this is all just BS. The Dodgers should have waited for a chip, that way they would have all the leverage n then TWC could pocket more; all from a business standpoint. It's just ****d up they didn't think of the fans when they thought through this idea. The sad part is, this could have all been avoided had the owners not gotten greedy. I know they got bills to pay, but a lot of the reason the "other" regime didn't have money is kuz they didn't invest in the team. I'm sure merch n ticket money is coming in hand over fist, especially with all the marketable stars. Just :smh:  at the whole situation.

Regardless, Go Dodgers Go!

This is what Frank McCourt was waiting for and why he got $2+ billion for the team. It wasn't going to get bigger, even with a championship. They got over $6 billion in the deal. McCourt knew what he was doing, the new ownership knew what they were doing. The fans were never part of the thought process. The other regime didn't have money, but this deal was going to make them flush, McCourt just couldn't hold on long enough, ran out of rope and rubbed people the wrong way.

Prices are going up, payroll is bloated and renovations are not friendly to the bottom line.

The new ownership knows they can get away with murder right now and Dodger fans wouldn't care. I remember people were up in arms when Fox put ads in the outfield, and when McCourt redid the foul areas and the dugout club. The new ownership has done more to Dodger Stadium than Fox and McCourt combined and not a peep.

Don't get me wrong, like the new ownership, but think it's funny how big pass they are getting for changing the "Dodger Way" under the fan bases nose.

Stan Kasten is a PR maven.

Beckett and Bills are off the hook after this year. League is off the hook after 2015. Ethier and Crawford are on the books until the end of the 2018 season but frankly don't see either of them in Dodger blue that long.

Yup, Look at ticket prices, they have sky rocketed since the new ownership took over. They even started taxing employee comps :frown:

Odds on favorite to win it all, by many, not just Grantland...

Fans are letting it happen because they're all in the honeymoon faze. After being screwed around with for several years with McCourt, any positive changes are a plus instead of getting runaround about what they're gonna do but never follow through. Or have Jamey Carrol be the splash off season free agency acquisition.

We'll see how far the front office takes it

What channel are they on tomorrow? The answer depends if I call out or not.

You better have TWC bruh.

N off topic, but have you been to Boca lately? It's been too long for me, might head out that way in a week or two.

love the way he plays but this dude needs I learn to stop screwing around already
dudes young and i get it. he just wants to have fun. he wasnt in the minors long enough to learn how to be a professional, hopefully those team meetings will be steps in to the right direction. Uribe, hanley and gonzalez really need to keep him in check. but its all up to puig. he gets a pass for today, media, fans, unexpected traffic were probably the reason he was late
