Didn't even mention Cubs/Cardinals, Braves/Phillies, Braves/Mets, etc.

Tons of teams have drama/beef. Giants/Dodgers is the only true rivalry, IMO. Don't see the Padres as a rival, they're terrible the majority of the time, same with the DBacks, if one or both of the teams suck, no one really cares.

not really. ill give you braves/ phillies but the point you try to make regarding the padres and dbacks can be easily turned around and applied to the mets and cubs. 

those teams have been far less relevent in recent years. 

the drama/beef i was alluding to is based on last years "brawls" and incidents, from the greinke/quentin fight, kennedy throwing at puig and greinke and the celebration in Arizonas pool. these incidents and team expectations will create great match ups down the stretch between the teams. you cant really say that for the continually rebuilding mets and cubs.
