Ya instead of 2B being a question mark it's been the catchers spot  who would've thought

Let me start off by saying that AJ Ellis had an amazing year in 2012, for AJ Ellis. He was more than serviceable and cemented the job for the 2013 season along with making himself a fan favorite. Damn that fan favorite label, because it makes people overlook players that are actually below average (*cough* Try to tell a girl that Andre Ethier sucks *cough*). AJ Ellis had a horrible second half last year. He is not that good defensively either (same as Federowicz and Butera :smh:). AJ Ellis would make an awesome backup catcher, unfortunately he's our starter and now he's injured.

So our depth chart has a backup catcher and two guys that are fringe major leaguers.

Being a "Fan Favorite" get's you a major pass, when they announced the AJ Ellis bobblehead I made a bet with a friend saying his BA will not be above the Mendoza line when they hand it out. So far, so good .167. :smokin

This season is a win/win though. The pressure is high, but the roster is horribly constructed. So if the Dodgers win the World Series, awesome times a million. However, if they don't, well, hopefully Ned finally gets the boot. Horrible GM, but has about 1000 lives. :smh:

Puig shouldn't be platooning anymore. Too good for that. Those other 3 bums can fight for the other 2 spots until one of them bats over .260 :smh:

This is why I loved Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness, and now Dodgers Digest...

Despite the five-run margin, Chris Perez picked up the save, because saves are dumb, and so is baseball, even when it’s great.

Least homerish blog you'll ever read.

Only Crawford and Ethier should be platooning too bad they are the same ******* player. Kemp and Puig should be in the lineup every day. Ethier/Crawford, one of them needs to kick rocks and the other reluctantly has to play LF.

Cosign. Kemp/puig=2 of the top OFers in baseball when healthy.

Dre/craw-run of the mill OFers who r liabilities vs lefties.

I wonder what Puig and Ryu were talking about... LOL at that fake punch to Puig's face and Puig fake cup check on Ryu!
