ya'll cold

Webster made his debut for the Bosox last night :smokin :frown:

Our Bosox are doing well though

I hate the Mess, always have. Let's take the series.

Mark Ellis :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin The bats finally did some work tonight. I thought that hit Kemp got in the 9th, I believe; I thought it was gone, but it hit off the wall.

Tough loss, 142 games to go, too many people pushing that panic button

Injury bug has been heavy blow: Hanley, Greinke, Bills...

That's a premiere offensive threat and your 2-3 starter.

Ya it's too soon to panic, they win 2 of 3 consistently and they'll be back in this in no time, getting Hanley back will shore up SS and the 5 spot but it is depressing these losses

Good to see Kemp get one, but this team has to be able to win high-scoring games without Greinke and Bills.

That one hurt last night. Up all night on best NL East Pitcher and so far this year best NL pitcher. Up 1 with 2 outs in 9th (thanks to that GREAT catch by Hairston....that was a beauty and at the time I thought the game saver).

THIS BULLPEN SUCKS. We really, really need to get some middle relief pitching that isn't going to consistently BLOW IT.

I thought Lilly was great.

2 Ks in 8 innings for League.

It's not a matter of if Jansen becomes the closer, it's a matter of when. League WILL blow a bunch of saves giving up all that contact. He just doesn't miss enough bats.

Actually the bullpen is very good, the bad part is that League is our closer when Jensen is a better option. Ned Colletti and his three-year deals, :smh:.

Anyway to stream the game... :nerd:

I'm at work, so, sooner the better, thanks guys.

Ya the bullpen is solid till the 9th, League is just so shaky, he has a dirty splitter but his fastball isn't overpowering

Courtesy of Yahoo fantasy:

Brandon League blew his first save of 2013 in the Dodgers' extra-innings loss to the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: League entered the ninth inning with a 3-2 lead, but a leadoff double by Mike Baxter was followed two batters later by David Wright's two-out single. Blown save notwithstanding, League is still a passable closer despite the fact that a better option exists on his own team in Kenley Jansen. With the money the Dodgers are paying him, League won't be removed from the ninth-inning role due to one rough outing.

Hold onto him or pick up Kenley?

So what was supposed to be the dodgers strong point has somewhat turned into their weakness
