I really think ned for the most part is gonna stand pat except an under the radar bullpen arm perhaps or some bench help..maybe some waiver deals b4 aug 31st. Im sorry, trading kemp for lester and eating more than half his salary doesnt make sense to me. Price's return isnt worth it. The only deal id entertain would be ethier and a couple of B level prospects for lester while eating a large part of dres contract. But boston aint gonna do that so theres no point.

Would any of yall do a dre/urias or dre/lee/reed deal for lester, a probable rental but possible #3 hypothetical playoff rotation guy...plus eat alot of dres salary?

Rather go after Hamels. At least it wont be a rental. But read Phillies are asking for the moon. Surprised he's still only 30. Seems like he's been in the league forever. I'd trade 1 of our top prospects if it means getting rid of Dre/Crawford or both for Hamels. Highly unlikely all 3 become all star players. Just gotta trade the right one. Or wrong depending on how look at it.

Fwiw:dodgers actively shopping craw in order to acquire a piece while subsequently eating "most" of the remaining deal. (As opposed to "fielding offers" for kemp)

Clear that OF mess...package craw for virtually free and a B-prospect for a BP piece. Do a soft platoon with SVS/dre and have SVS also spell gonzo and call it an OF rotation.

So were back to the original punto trade beckett. Call it the labrum/regression. Either way, he and haren are not to be counted on down the stretch. Having said that, I still hope Ned doesnt make a panic move for lester or hamels by parting with anyone noteworthy.

Read that directv supposedly isn't interested in the arbitration. Won't surprise me if the dodgers aren't on tv all year. Seems like directv already took their stance and not too many people cancelled their service to jump ship to tw.
