& kemp is gone, wow kinda sad to see him go but understand what needs to be done.
How quickly kemp fell off, hope he continues his modeling career in sd.

Good by Matty. I'll never forget 2011 were Kershaw and him were basically the team. Still a shame he got robbed.

Still feel there are a couple of more moves to be made.
Don't think Ethier stays with the club, maybe they throw him in a potential Hamels/Rollins deal.
Even with Kemp gone, OF is still crowded:

LF Crawford
4th Ethier
5th Van Slyke
Ship Ethier out and Van Slyke will be the 4th.

Friedman is a moneyball guy. I have to expect this. But so was DePo...and Depo took a 2004 playoff team and didnt add pieces to it, he blew it up and did it "his way" with "his guys"....

Damn. Kemp was my fave player after taking the torch from S.Green and Mondesi before that. Now what?

Most of us "******ed" fans liked the moves except the Kemp one. Us "******s" are also aware Crawford and Ethier are not prized commodities. I wanted the infield defense to improved and they did it. No gripes from this "******"
And Is anyone here even infuriated by the Kemp deal? Sounds like most are disappointed but understand the reasoning. Big Kemp fan and it'll sting a bit but my "******ed" self will get over it.

So they flipped Dee Gordon, Miguel Rojas, Dan Haren, Matt Kemp and tons of cash for Jimmy Rollins, Howie Kendrick, Yasmani Grandal and cash. (Prospects as well on all sides)
I like it. Two things that were urgent needs was a good catcher and a decent shortstop. They did both. Still work to do, it's only 12/10.
