angels chose mike ove rtheir GM who pushed analytics.

My vote is for the hometown kid, Kapler. He's as big as a sabermetric dude as Friedman. I don't want a retread manager. Promote him already and move on and focus on dumping these contracts

What do you fellas think about that Andy Van Slyke interview? I know most Dodger fans wouldn't want Puig moved at this point because it would be selling low, but if they could get a great arm I say go for it. I love analytics but I also believe in clubhouse culture and guys playing for each other.

Also out of the top arms, there's word now that Dodgers really like Zimmerman? I love Greinke, but if he wants a contract longer than 6 years then I'm torn on what to do.

Big market teams can afford to do so. I still think anything above 5 for a pitcher at that price tag is stupid.

Could the Giants be serious about greinke, or are they only trolling to make the Dodgers pay more?

Giants are srs contenders for grienke, i dont see them throwing a big contract though, it isnt like them.

But the dodgers wallets are deep not sure how much the giants can stretch their dollar to match the dodgers ... Need zach attack back at like 4 years
