Ashanti has actually been pretty busy. She was just in Charleston (where I live) about a month ago because she's on Army Wives now and they film it here. I think she just dropped a new single too.

A lot of these people you guys are naming can be found on Instagram. I know Mia X is on there. Just try to Google some of their social networking pages...
 
Anybody remember Cocentration Camp? Young Bleed, C-Loc, Max Minelli and them outta Baton Rouge? Raw rap and pretty sure they brought Boosie into the game early.

1. they chose the wrong dude to ride w/, they gonna stay on that milk carton.

2. spice was putting out albums on a consistent basis (every 1-2 years since 91) til he got shot in 07, he has a new album thats supposed to drop this year.

I rock with u tough cuz u from the Land and respect SunN.Y. I still play this song at least once a month... I remember he got signed to So So Def n released like one other song with JD that was terrible. Dude ain't been seen since. Really wised he dropped music still he killed dudes on 106
 
I remember when that "Soul of A Hustler" song came out. First saw it on Rap City, such a great song. JD definitely dropped the ball on him.

Last I heard he was coked out somewhere in the hood here. But according to an interview and his twitter, he moved to Miami and is working on new music with another rapper here in Milwaukee named Baby Drew. The interview was from three years ago though. No one here (Milwaukee) cares about him anyway. People in the rap industry from here tend to get big and leave and rep other places. :rolleyes
