And I looked at the tag inside my shark pants and it says made in China, I thought they were made in Japan?

Hardly any bape pieces are made in Japan anymore it's been outsourced to china after I.T. bought the brand.. hence the cheap screen prints you will find on the stuff now a day...

I have bape tees 13 years old with no chips in the print... these newer tees won't last 13 washes..

Damn didn't even pay that much attention to that :smh:
 
Most of my older bape tees, the screen print is still strong and not one crack. All the China made tees you would be lucky to get 2 good washes out of it before noticing cracks in the screen print. Now I just take it to the dry cleaner so it doesn't **** up the screen print.

Right befor Nigo got bought out... the differences between Japan and China production is so drastic that it makes me throw up in my mouth that they are doing better now rather than before. The outsourcing also made production costs cheaper but they increased price points in the states... I don't think anyone in Japan cares for bape anymore unless it's a toy.
 
Damn that's crazy, didn't know the screen print on bape stuff chipped.........
 
Bape x Trophy Room pop up is only 10 min away from here in Orlando. Usually it's 40 min. Hmmmm rather deal with online though.
 
I'm wondering how much pondon will charge for those pieces, usually is about equal to us retail, even $50 more for convenience is fine with me for that collection
 
Bape US has the space camo crew and zip hoody up back in big sizes again. Could it be a restock of some items?
 
Probably but it's most likely better to cop off pondon or Japan with a forwarding service
