HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

if it gets picked up by another, most likely netflix.

But this series should have been on HBO from the jump. Just imagine what they could have done even more free from network TV. :wow: And HBO would have pushed it well better than NBC ever did. That fall lineup would have been tough with Boardwalk and Hannibal.

EDIT:

Showrunner already has idea for S4 if it gets picked up:

On Monday, the Peacock net cancelled the acclaimed drama, announcing that the show’s current third season would be its last. But Fuller — Hannibal‘s showrunner and chief architect — is game to keep the series going should producer Gaumont find it a new home.

In fact, the auteur already has Season 4 mapped out in his head.

“My idea for Season 4 was perhaps one of the coolest yet,” he tells TVLine. “So I would love to do it in some capacity.”

Fuller declined to provide too many specifics about the direction of a possible fourth season, except to say, “It would have explored the Hannibal-Will Graham relationship in a much deeper fashion than the series ever has before.”

I hate people man. They'd watch ****** shows on any other channel but won't watch this masterpiece? Smh..

I like Netflix to takeover though.

If it gets picked up from another network, they really don't need to push the envelope. This show is pretty graphic already.

The problem was always the graphical nature of the show. No way it was gonna stay on regular tv. Too much (amazing) gore, too many (incredible) deaths and such.

I personally think this show is tailor made for Netflix and hopefully they will save it.

They deserve one last supper.

Graphic nature

It was clearly ratings like with most other cancellations S3E02 was the lowest viewed episode of the series.

Regardless the show was basically set up for failure with lack of promo and bad scheduling/timeslot

Most people don't even know this show exists

Yup. I never see it talked about except on nt. Don't even see the stars going on talk shows to promote it. Would be great if netflix did pick it up. The show deserves something better than that garbage network nbc. The network doesn't even have any hit sitcoms or dramas except for svu.

Caught up with this season now. Was sad about Abigail and how Will was talking about how hannibal kept giving her back to him only to take her away again.

Was wondering if the Japanese woman from the newest episode was the same character from the hannibal rising movie. Not sure since her name in the movie was Lady Murasaki and on the show it's Chiyo.

Wondering if or when we'll see alana and how bad her injuries are. Still hate her for not believing my dude Will. She deserved that nice fall.

**** NBC

Netflix seems like a good home for Hannibal. Hope they pick this up

Why would Netflix wanna pick up Hannibal?
They have their own shows that cost a ton of money to make, why sink even more money into a show few people have watched?
It hurts to say it but we gotta learn to let things go people. Its just a show and there will be other great shows.
We got 3 great seasons, be happy for that.

We don't care what netflix wants, it's about what we want. They picked up that doo doo show the killing that nobody watched. I dunno if people even watch lilyhammer or that show set in florida they did recently. Sense8 or whatever isn't getting much attention either.

I think it's season 1 that killed any chance this show had. It was a crime solving show that featured Hannibal instead of being a show about Hannibal that featured crime solving. Will Graham should've never been the main character.

Now that the show's cancelled. I can say Mads is the better Hannibal than Hopkins.

Been saying this all along. Only reason I watched is because I saw a NTer posting about it on Twitter during season 1 :smh:

It's ridiculous...I've seen Fishburne go on Kimmel for Blackish with the rest of the lead cast and he has a much much smaller role.

Some internal nonsense caused this not the show itself.

Speaking of interviews, here's a cool one with Mads being interviewed by a kid. He likes classical music but also Pink Floyd, The Doors, & Otis Redding... He also likes spicey Thai food...

From that same convention, Mads being a good sport to someone dressed like Buffalo Bill... Every interview I've ever seen with Mads, he always comes across as gracious & genuine.

Will's great and my favorite character. I thought it was cool seeing hannibal help on cases and how everyone held him in high regard while we the audience knew what kind of monster he is. Just kept waiting to see who and how many people would find out about him.

Why wouldn't they when they've done it before?

Plus just by being on netflix original shows or old ones automatically get more recognition by getting promoted as a netflix series.

I've seen Gillian Anderson and Hugh Dancy more than once promote the show on the Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers shows.

I've never seen Mads on any talk show so I just assume he's one of those actors that doesn't do that for w/e reason.

I think netflix could possibly breathe new life into this show as far as more people watching it. I could be wrong but I credit a lot of breaking bad's popularity on it being available on netflix. Seemed like people checked it out on there and not amc. They liked it and spread the word.
