HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

wow really with the web episodes?
You were right.

Haven't watched this new ep yet, cuz I wanna see the real 4th episode first. And go figure...the show's ratings tanked this week. I'm guessing because a lot of people, like me, didn't feel right watching the show out of order.

Okay...Bryan Fuller asked you to pull the ep...why don't you just push it back a week? Cuz then you'd see Boston wasn't about kids killing kids. Why would you pull it, then kinda put it online the same week? And why did NBC pretend like this was just some webisodes they made on the side? When really it's obviously half of the ep, with the murder of the week cut out. I mean, it's about Lecter and the girl, and it dealt with the aftermath of last week's ep. The parts they put up were damn good, but you can feel chunks of it missing. Like Gina Torres just randomly being there at the end. :smh:

And since it's only half the episode, a lot of people are gonna wait for something real to pop up (which is soon since it's playing in full outside the US, and they're a week or so behind). And calling the ep that was on Thursday, the 4th, instead of the 5th is funky. They're acting like this episode didn't exist. And not making sure people knew they NEEDED to watch these "webisodes"... I mean, if you went on the site, you wouldn't know these existed or were anything. It looks like random web extras.

It's just so NBC of them. >D

Here's a link to watch them. It's called Ceuf.

Best drama they got right now and watch it get cancelled, cuz of this. :smh:

The whole 44 minute 4th episode is now available on torrent trackers.
Here's the thing, though. The ep had absolutely nothing to do with Boston at all. Not even a little bit. No bombing, no crowd attack, no Boston, no running, no public attacks, no non-Americans, no college, no police attack, no limbs loss, no terrorist anything.

Only thing related was police looking for killers. :nerd:

This is about kids killing kids. I'm guessing, they filmed this ep around when Newtown happened, and decided back then to pull it, not realizing America has a short memory. I think the creator was too sensitive, cuz it's so far and away not like what happened with Newtown, that you'd have to reach just to have someone think of Newtown when they watch this. I get if while they were thinking it out...how close to the project they were, maybe it felt way similar, but not to the passing watcher.

It just feels real unnecessary pulling it. Type of audience that would watch Hannibal is mature enough to see the difference. It IS creepy, that one of the kids kinda looks like Adam Lanza, but it's just disturbing coincidences, more than anything I think would offend people. I mean, if you can take naked women impaled by deer antlers, this is nothing.

All that said...really good ep. Really important ep too for the characters.

And the newest one :wow: Frailty. :nerd:

Those angels are right up there with the mushroom people and the kid in the Xmas fireplace. :x

Oh...and Laurence Fishburne go hard.

Yeah, waited and watched both episodes in order.  I was also expecting ep4 to have some sort of similarity to what happened in Bos, but I guess I can see why Fuller felt uncomfortable about it. This show just keeps getting creepier and creepier... I'm enjoying it, though, no doubt!

But according to Wiki their ratings for ep5 was around 2mn, down from 4mn during the initial few episodes.  Hope it picks up.  Sure, they have a season-2 signed, but you just never know.

Foie gras?  Delish!

Another great episode... I love how we're slowly being introduced to the various characters in the movies/books (i've only seen the movies), with this week, it was Dr. Chilton.

We also got to see some different sides of Lecter... he seemed sincere when he talked to Jack about his wife dying as well as the cold-blooded guy that actually is. Of course, he never actually killed Miriam.

But really, how the hell are they able to get some of those scenes past the censors?  Gruesome stuff.

It's tongue this week.

The dude from TRL !!!

And Agent Scully returns next episode!!!! :wow: can't wait.

Edit: caught up with the last two, anyone can give a brief synopsis on the pulled episode on how it connects to the 2 most recent airings? Don't feel like watching it on a pc. Like my shows on TV so i can lie down and relax

That was awesome.

Shame it had the same ratings as last week's. NBC mighta killed the show playing hide and seek with the kids episode. :smh:

Don't know what happened. Stopped caring. I'll try catching some eps on demand. Probably peep this child killing ep before any of the ones I missed.

Wait, Lecter DIDN'T kill Miriam?
I thought it was implied that he eventually killed her, but it wasn't at his office, where he probably just caused her to pass-out. He still needs to have her record that voicemail to Jack.  I liked how the show gave us the feel that Miriam was like a "Clarice" character, but obviously having a different fate.

Can't wait for the return of Scully!

Why are you in this thread? Silly rabbit.

Well, that much is obvious. You just phrased it in such a weird way.

The recipes in this episode!

And the victims... and the feast!  Some seriously-rich dishes on the menu, it seems!

Scully... interesting character... guess we'll only be seeing her in flashbacks... assuming that she's probably dead.

As I catch up with like the last 4 eps I missed, damn how many different serial killers end up actually being Hannibal? They giving son mad credit. Feel like I've heard 4 different serial killer nicknames and most have actually been revealed to be Hannibal

Stuff like the mention of MJ's death still throws me off too.

Every time I see this thread I'm reminded I've been missing eps. It's not that I don't like the show, just not clicking for me right now especially with the other shows out there. Mewling quim.

NBC renewed a lot of stuff. But not Hannibal yet. :smh:

It's the best show on their channel. (Maybe I'll give you Parks)
And they might've killed it themselves sorta/kinda pulling that one ep outta "respect."

That was probably my favorite episode. Serial killer battle :wow: :smokin

Tobias could have won if he didn't get reckless (especially since he was good enough to get the drop on Lecter at the bus place)

I'm glad don't have to see Franklin's confused/weird *** anymore. He tried to save em then he was like **** it *snap*

You gotta be a really ****** up to be passed off by 9/10 psychiatrists.

Scully is looking better than ever...same with Lucy Liu in Elementary on CBS

Tobias was giving Hannibal the BUSINESS with those forward kicks. I was like COT DAMN!!!! :x :x :x

Great episode. This show is so damn creepy, I love it haha.
