HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

So what's Hannibal going to do now that he knows Will tried to have him "kilt"?
Sneak some human meat into Will's prison meal.
Some Alana-sausage!

But anyway... every week... gotta say... the visuals... outstanding.

Rarely do I find a recasted-character better than the original... but Mads though, it's a tough call!

And I do hope they settle on something with MGM... would love to see them tie this in with Silence...

WTF though... who the hell comes up with ways to kill people like that?!  Incredibly, sadistically creative.

When Jack said that Bev will be memorialized at the FBI, I totally pictured her "display" set up at the FBI...

I think the most important takeaway from the previously posted interview--for me at least--is their plan to have at least 5 seasons. That means there's at least 3 seasons worth of content coming to us.

:smokin

Well yeah, they're lifting this stuff straight from the books and breaking them up in a way to fit the tv format.

Actually these 1st 2 seasons are totally new creations. Definitely based on the source material, but the tv show events take place before the novels started.

I think the plan is to not really start from the novels until season 4 red dragon/manhunter, 5 silence, 6 hannibal, and 7 with new material

Oh I would've swore the author already wrote books on the prequels with Will Graham before Clarice.

Damn though, I gotta way awhile for Buffalo Bill's it puts the lotion in the basket.

The "Beverly sculpture" might've been inspired by those body exhibits that have toured the world over... That's the first thing I thought...

Ah, that's it... couldn't quite put my finger on it!  Got a chance to see the exhibition here, but didn't go... creeped me out a bit.

So is this basically fan-fiction realized?

Beverly's murder WAS NOT inspired by the famous Body exhibitions. Of course, I could see why anyone would think that.

Bev was a forensic scientist/agent who constructed and/or "pieced together" clues/data to solve cases. She worked a lot with slides. The manner in which she was killed and displayed very much echoes the nature of her work. Except, Hannibal chose to "de-piece" and/or deconstruct her, and in so doing, invert her professional metaphor to fit his metaphor as a twisted killer.

He also removed and consumed her kidney because she was significantly more rude, and thus a worthier "trophy", than the color wheel killer dude--whose kidney he placed into Bev's carcass.

SON!!!!

SON!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN!!

Did this dude just orchestrate his accident, kidnap him, then kill his guard and stage a grand display before stashing dude in his lair and cutting off his legs, then the next night he cooks his legs to feed it to him as his last meal. Son! Your last meal were your own legs?!!!!

To think Hannibal had Will's fate in the palm of his hands the whole time with all that evidence to get the murders off Will. This basically means he was gonna keep Will locked up until he was really friends with him again  :smh: but since Will declared war he let Will out to really bring it to him after banging his woman.

Ruthless

Will told Gideon that he'd die cuz he got too close and didn't believe him. Still wanted to lie to Jack.

Guess hand was tipped when Jack asked for the doggy bag. That ending though, I thought it was gonna be the Hobbs chick. Hannibal had that Buffalo Bill set up, she been putting the lotion on her skin.

That was the dopest episode to date

My dude lecter really composed his masterpiece

The previews from last week really got me with the okie doke

And I knew the whole time it was too soon for hannibal to be really implicated

Still got me :smh:

Why am I drawing a blank on who the chick in the well is tho?

**edit** never mind I know now.. I really need to watch season 1 again

They're squeezing so many nods to future events in the show tho.... It's like they know the show is about to get cancelled or something

Great episode.

Someone needs to make a Scumbag Hannibal meme.

How you gonna fed a dude himself as a last meal?

Hannibal probably vindicated Will for the murders in part so that the could rub in his face in person that he's flipped his biggest supporter in Dr. Bloom and is smashing her now too.

Ol' girl is open off that cannibal D too.

Yeah the chick Miriam was like Jack's protege in his trainnig class that he let follow a lead or was to busy to consult her or somethn and then she got got by Hannibal.

Thing is I know she'll have no new leads at all. She's probably broken living like that for what's probably 10 years (think it was 8 ). Makes sense we get a new female character out of this though.

I'm more than sure Hannibal let Will out cuz he's gonna enjoy trying to beat him at this then kill him, then feed him to Jack and Dr. Bloom.

They're setting up a real clean slate for next season though. Will is out and Hannibal's killed everybody who got suspicious or was a liability. No half measures.

I'm going to be ******* pissed if this gets cancelled.

Show is GREAT.

Damn, they are canceling Dracula too? Dracula and Hannibal are the only shows I watch on NBC. I'll be pissed if they cancel.

Question--if they cancel Hannibal, can another network pick it up?

great episode again. :wow: Glad it wasn't the doggie bag. But makes Hannibal even more clever anticipating such a thing would happen.

Getting fed your own part. :x Hannibal is crazy. :wow:

Bloom :smh: straight covering for him

Will getting out :pimp: b/c of Hannibal basically owning up to the previous, hannibal could have gotten Will out whenever he felt it was okay to release him, dat power over him :wow: Dude has a master plan about to be foiled by Jack though

Wasn't expecting Miriam to pop up. Hannibal been doing this for a long *** time :x...just realized they hinted at her return because Will said to Jack, paraphrasing "who does he have to kill that is close to you to open your eyes." And later on it's discovering Miriam that puts him on the right path.

Yea if gets cancelled, another network could pick it up whether it be on cable or a streaming service like netflix. Same thing happened with Southland (amazing show seriously), nbc (stupid) cancelled it and TNT picked it up. Before the new season debuted on TNT, they ran a marathon of the previous season to let the new viewers catch up. If it does get picked up by a streaming service, i'm thinking amazon prime because the show is currently exclusive to their lineup and since jeff wants to grow prime's content, hannibal as an exclusive would be a catch.

This is the best show on TV until at least tomorrow night.

I knew it would keep being damn good, with gorgeous visuals...
I didn't think it'd make the jump it did this season, though. :smokin

Bloom straight covering for him

Dr. Bloom wasn't covering. She thinks he was there all night. Pretty sure he drugged her. (He cleaned her wine class before he left)

She wanted to smash a long time ago found the perfect excuse and Hannibal needed an alibi.

Can't wait till she crosses path with free Will :pimp:

He better hit her with this

Good for Gideon. He's the one who actually saved Hannibal and covered for him multiple times even after he set him up.

Hannibal should feed him to himself one body part/organ at a time :smokin

Amazing episode as usual.
I actually thought Jack had him with the doggie bag. But Hannibal too smart for that.
Always liked Dr. Alana Bloom. Id smang

I always wondered how come Hannibal is so rich? Marble floors, grand piano, big house, wine cellar, and I believe last season they showed him driving a Rolls Royce Phantom.
Shrinks cant make that kind of money, can they?

How good was Dracula? I tried watching but it didn't pull me in enough and I think it conflicted with something else that I wanted to watch more.

Also didn't NBC have some other show they were debuting that they promoted right along with Dracula but I never saw it actually air. It was a period piece as well.

As for this hopefully netflix picks this up. Then they could really let loose with a few more things  Eps would be a bit longer too. I would like USA to pick it up cuz I remember they picked up a few other shows that were canceled like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The dream would be FX giving this show a chance. To me they'd be rivaling AMC if they got The Americans, The Bridge, AHS, upcoming Fargo, and then Hannibal.

It was a Bentley Arnage.

He's not a typical psychiatrist he has a private practice plus the consulting aside from that he's really smart, former surgeon and doesn't spend much money on food.
