HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

Check that, I guess Scully wasn't in a flashback... dunno why I thought that.

Another great episode... interesting to see Hannibal have to actually defend himself... and in the process, constantly think about the consequences; leaving no fingerprints on the statue and whatnot.

According to Brian Fuller's Twitter-feed, Silence of the Lambs would be in season 5 of their timeline! Fascinating.

GIllian Anderson looks great. I cant remember watching a show that had better sound editing than Hannibal. I love everything about the show.
Like I said before the show is amazing. Only a handful of shows in the past few years are in the same realm of quality as this show.
Game of Thrones, Homeland, Walking Dead & American Horror Story come to mind.

Hope I'm wrong but I doesn't look like Hannibal is going to get renewed.

Hope I'm wrong.

Enjoyed the last episode and the serial killer battle. Poor Franklin.

I think Hannibal might kill Dr. Bloom since he knows Will has a thing for her.

:smh: Told yall, that pulling an episode out of (********) respect might've killed the show. They kinda put pieces of it online, kinda pretended it didn't exist, kinda didn't give people enough info to know what the hell. The ep before (Hannibal takes the girl under his wing) was in a way a cliffhanger, and people didn't know whether watching next week's ep would spoil the show. Putting that 15-min cutout of the ep online, just made people wait until the real ep showed up 2 weeks later.

So the ratings instantly dropped that week and never came back up.

I think this is as close to a successful cable drama as network TV has had and you can't just say skip an episode, to an audience like that. Not when the show is new. This ain't The Mentalist. They wouldn't skip an episode Breaking Bad or Dexter (when it was good), because they respect the storytelling too much. And understand that each episode is building the world and characters little by little.

Hope I'm wrong.
Me too.

Glad it got renewed for a second season.

The girl from last night's episode was creepy as hell.

That scene with ol' girl under Will's bed had me like

**** trying to reach out and touch her. The only thing I would've been reaching out to was a gun to empty a full clip into her.

I appreciate the homage to Dead Like Me. The woman who played the creepy girl Georgia (Ellen Muth) was also the lead character on Dead Like Me (also named Georgia)

Should've never cancelled that show.

Yo not recommended to watch that episode at 4 am with the same bed type. Had me legit shook had to put the tv on sleep timer so I could finally fall asleep at 5am. Kept thinking she was under the bed or if I slept on my side she would be standing on the other side watching me. Haha. Girl was straight creepy and following him from delaware to MD :wow: kinda had to suspend belief but still a good episode. Glad for the renewal though, still can't believe following got renewed. That garbage it turned into :smh:

I don't get killing he doctor if he was helping fake the tests.

It's crazy how he's playing all these supposedly smart people like puppets. But I guess they have their guards down when they think they aren't around criminals.

Lector has to be in complete control. He has to be the only person that knows of Will's encephalitis.

Will's gonna want other tests maybe even Jack. That doctor was already under his thumb others (FBI doctors) not so much.

He let Abigail live she knows he made the call ti her dad and she dug up that guy...

One of my favorite shows at the moment. Would get a lot more attention if it wasn't on NBC.

Walking Dead doesn't belong in that list. Not even close. The writing is simplistic.

Homeland got unbelievable during the end of season one, but was saved by great acting from Clair Danes, and season two was just silly :smh:

Throw in Luther, Suits and Breaking Bad

Promoting it would help..I dont even recall any of the actors doing promo...late night talk shows etc

That Scully/Lector relationship just got interesting. She's protecting him for saving her from the psycho he sent to killer...Hannibal is too good

It didn't help that the final two episodes went head to head with the NBA Finals

Just watching this past weeks episode right now....what am I in for?

what the hell was that deer-man-beast?

**** had me shook.

its based on the book red dragon , i think his sister comes into play next season

the last scene was an homage to silence of the lambs , kind of like a role reversal

I didn't know this was based on a book. I really thought they could've went somewhere more with Will. Instead of him being framed. Yeah the ending was clear homage to the movie.

Can't wait for next season.

The deer-man beast is suppose to be a representation of who Hannibal really is; he is the monster committing the murders.

Yeah the veal had to be Abigail. Too much symbolism and metaphors for it not to be.

I'm just waiting for someone to call Hannibal on that slick bull ****. Like hesitate before they eat, noticing Hannibal is getting off at the idea that they're about to unknowingly eat a human being, then take a bite and just say "Amazing, Hannibal, I didn't think a person could taste so good." and then he'd be like :wow:

show caught some bad breaks with the nba playoffs and game 7 during

the finale ...throw in on netflix so people can catch up during the summer

and next year put it on mondays at 9/10 with the voice lead in

also mads mikkelson was awesome and should get a emmy nomination

:rolleyes @ them not noticing the handwriting differences...Jack thought he faked the clock but he had brain swelling.

I'm lost on the finale. I know it's called Hannibal but that's it for my boy Will? Just like that?

Will's good. He figured it out and he got treatment so he has more clarity . Only way Hannibal can stop Will/cover his tracks is to kill him so...Payback :pimp:

Getting essentially framed for like 5 murders at once? :x

Scully has to know what's up...she even hinted at it.
