Nike Air Trainer Max '91 Grey Stone / Yellow

What was the year of the first retro for the grey/yellow colorway? I still have a pair that are in really good condition, wore em earlier this year. Probably pass on these again being that no changes have been made to look closer to the OG. Wouldnt mind the black/whites though.
 
2004 i think.

slept on the black whites too. saw em at a BUNCH of cheap spots too.
 
Do these have a release date yet?

I have the last retro but I'd still like another just to get a fresh pair. Like others have mentioned, even w/ the flaws we see, most everyone else doesn't and the shoes get good compliments plus they look nice as hell.
 
I want the grey/yellows!!! First sighting in store but haven't seen any online yet.

I havent seen them online either but if my champs got these, I feel like they should be everywhere. My champs is pretty basic and only gets general releases. However I think it tends to have a focus on trainers and huaraches 
 
New crack city on that midsole again smh

Got 3 pairs from previous retros and all 3 midsole paint cracking.

Can they not address this?
 
Yep, Stones look just like the last retro. Not a bad thing by any means, but I was really hoping they'd bring back that nappy suede.

OG's did too. It's just the way that midsole is. Can't paint the parts that are painted and avoid that, unfortunately.

Just went to champs in the city, these clowns had no idea what shoe I was even talking about. What champs did you see these in mir101780?

LOL employees never know anything, I'm in Rockford, IL (about an hour west of Chicago) saw them at Cherryvale Mall. I went back today to see if they could order my size but there didn't have any 15s in their system. They did have sizes up to 13 tho
 
The kid actually said he had no idea what the shoes were, had to stifle a reaction. I've been through Rockford before, not in a long time though, if you got them then nyc has to get them too. These horrible employees at the chain stores make me wanna get a part time job there and show them how it's done, but I digress.
 
Ive wanted these shoes for a long time. I heard about people seeing them in champs so I called my champs and they dont have them. Then I looked online and finally found a store selling them for $110 which I think thats the deal !!

Was just about to post this, I got an email from somebody who replied on my post on sneakernews, my first time purchasing from Ruvila shocked they had a 15. I will have to check them out more often

really I just ordered them, kind of fast to be sold out unless they tweeted about them, but even if they did the hype for these cant be insane, only og sneakerheads are messing with these 
 
I ordered a size 10.5 about an hour ago and everything so far has gone well. They sent me a conformation email.

As far as i know they are not sold out

I appreciate the heads up, I would double up but I gotta order the kds and scream green huaraches on Saturday. August is killing my pockets.

Edit: Also contemplating the Beethovens and the Spot Blue 3s

Checked these out today and passed again. This is the 2nd time I've passed on these. This time it was the toe box. Looking at the toe box profile, it looks like Frankenstein's forehead. Size is TTS or even .5 down but if I were to buy, I'd go with TTS.

If they hit outlets I might cop but no way for retail.
 
quality on my pair is cheeks. Poorly painted and sole is cracking already on the heel. Toe box not looking too great either. I'm not one to knit pick about quality issues bt I seriously considered sending them back. I will just wear them to work a lot and they will become my work beaters since black and yellow are the school colors. I might order another pair to stock and rock casually, hopefully it is a better pair.
