OK need help I got approved for a BOA auto loan I can do 48 months at a rate of 3.69 and 60 at a rate of 4.09

All the 2012 civics I see are about 16500-17000. I found one for 14994 with 10k miles on it. Do you guys think I can talk then into lowering it more or is this a steal being that everywhere else their special online pricing is 16000-17000. I did an estimated total cost with taxes and fees at 16066 and some change at 60months my payments would be 297 estimated with me paying 1726 in interest at 48 months I'd be looking at 361 and 1240 in interest so a difference of 64 bucks monthly and 486 in interest.

Do you think I can get price lowered? Any advice?

you're gonna take 5 years to pay off a honda civic?

If your gonna pay 16k for a civic why don't you drop 15k for a 08 accord LX? More speed, power, similar gas economy but a lot more
Fun And cozy...interior is better too.

I'm saving up for one of those within the next year hopefully.

Or you really settled on the civic ?

Not really lookin for "fun" just need something I can drive to the ground for 10+ years and good on gas and maintence. My 97 Camry has 292k miles on it and I don't wanna have it randomly die and I have to rush to find a whip. I'm 24 and looking to get into grad school this year so I want something that will take me to work and to class and be reliable. I was gonna buy an older early 00s Toyota or Honda cash but those are all gonna he near mileage where you gotta do major maintence and if I'm gonna do major maintence I rather it be on a car that I've had for 5+ years not something I just got a year ago.

But in the fit thread your all about living your life, having fun, and not taking life too serious even though we're all tryna live healthy, fit lives. You tell people all the time to loosen up and enjoy things like burgers and fries once in a blue moon, that you gotta enjoy your food and life. (Which I agree with)

But when you make your car choice fun isn't an option?

Not hating, just sayin...why not get the better car for the same money, especially when gas is similar. It's almost the same concept, why not get the more enjoyable car? Civics are reliable but so are accords...but you get more bang for your buck.

But it's your cash homie. Congrats either way, I need to upgrade my car I need to work harder

Son I'm not a street racer I need a car to get me to the fun not to joy ride in. Lol I don't see how the 08 joint is "better" persay when the civic has all the features I need is newer, will have far less miles, etc. now if you were saying cop a 2012 or 13 or another car in the same price range cool

best deals i get when car shopping is showing written quotes (from various dealerships) to even more other dealerships. just pick whoever gives u the best deal.

Bro I didn't mean be Paul Walker from Fast Five lol...

I just meant it gives you more "uumph" for that money. Since you like To go out it def gives you more enjoyability when it comes to taking your boys out for a cruise or givin girls rides around the city.

I don't have one myself but I've driven them a lot (in my previous valet job) and they really are smooth as hell.

But civics are reliable cars as well, you can't go wrong wih a Honda.

Do you man, all good Vin Diesel

What color you thinkin abou Coppin?

How is an 08 naked base model Accord better?

I meant the premium model.
But regardless of specs. This was an opinion based on someone whose driven at least 50 accords and 50 civics through his job.

Not all about what the specs say, as far as driving goes... An 08 accord >> 2012 civic. Especially the 08 coupe which has the same exterior as the 2012, and plenty of interior fun.

Comedy if you are actually trying to say the civic is a better drive than the accord. Civics are great cars, GREAT.
But taking the accords for spins makes you not want to drive civics anymore.

It's like driving the S5 then being told to buy the A5...yeah the price may be too high, and economically and gas wise it may not make sense...but when you drive that s5 you don't want to drive the a5 anymore.

Some people know what I' mean...I think.

im looking at 2010 accords..prices range from 16-19..im also looking at 11 impalas...they go for 13-16...im leaning towards impala cuz thats already what i have not to mention its a couple grand cheaper for a newer car...what yall think

I mean don't get me wrong if I were looking to get a whip 2 years from now I would just pay cash for the 08 accord but I'm not trying to finance an 08 whip, and i know this is Nike talk where dudes pay cash to go to college but the civic fits my budget where I can over pay on my note and still have pocket money and pay my other bills no worry and its only a year old with 10k miles so the first owner already took the hit I only drive 10-12k miles a year if that so I won't put crazy miles on the car so really this can last me forever.
