I dont believe it, but anyone ever notice the texture of the beef in beef in broccoli is pretty different than any other beef you have?

Not surprised, I quit half way through some sesame chicken I got because I was convinced whatever it was definitely wasn't chicken. I've been whole foods shopping and cooking ever since.

I really don't find this thread to be racist, I think the better question is whether substituting animals is common practice at Chinese food spots. I mean, if you have questions about any questionable practices at the soul food spots or chicken joints ill gladly chime in. It's not ignorance, I'm looking for clarification.

I kid you not...about a month ago I go pick up my boss some Chinese food.

She comes out the office and shows the staff a ******g grilled roach that was in the food...like how do you cook some **** up and not see the roach?

youre either a liar, a half wit, and/or the most gullible person on the face of this planet. aint no restaurant got shut down in nyc because they had skinned cats in the freezer.

its not. just think it through logically.

how much time and effort would it take to hunt for stray cats, kill them, and then field dress/break them down to harvest the meat? These restaurants can probably buy de-boned/prepared chicken thighs in bulk for $1/lb. Just from an economical standpoint, it wouldnt make any sense to try and use stray cat meat.
